No rose petals?

That is very strange because they are biodegradable very quickly. Unless they mean silks which do not break down. If a place is that strict, they will not allow birdseed...which hurts when it hits you. Go with bubbles if you can or skip it.

I've seen flower girls carry those flower balls, I don't know the technical term haha but they look cute carrying them!

Would you be able to substitute for lavender buds? It's not the same as petals, but it still has that flower aspect, smells great, and can look pretty with it's light color!

I think it would help better if you clarified who your flower girl is going to be. I saw you mentioned a 'funny fg' moment with a male friend, will you have that AND a normal flower girl as well?

Tone's suggestion of the paper heart cut outs is great, and also easy to clean up!

What are their reasons for no flower petals? If it's something like "hard to clean up" I can imagine lavender buds would be even worse because they're so tiny?

Depending on age you can give her a corsage and just have her walk down the raise
