No Rvsps to shower 😞

I’m having a wedding out of state so my mom and bridal party decided to throw me a shower so friends and family who won’t be able to make it to the wedding can feel included in the celebration. (All guests invited to shower are invited to wedding!) My MOH informed me that the deadline to RSVP is in 5 days (shower is in 3 weeks) and she’s only heard back from 5 of the almost 50 women invited. Is this normal? I don’t care about the gifts, I was just genuinely excited to celebrate with everyone. Kinda bummed.

    Have hope. People are notorious about not RSVPing on time. Please make sure someone calls them to personally see if they are attending. I bet you have more people than you think to celebrate with you! Best wishes!! ❤

    People are horrible at RSVP-ing on time. Have your mom reach out to people individually once the date has passed and asked. I'm one of those horrible people and usually havent returned an RSVP until the very last minute because I usually forget until the reminder comes up on my phone. Dont lose heart, it will be great.

    I agree - people are terrible at RSVPing!! So don't get discouraged!! Smiley heart

    Lots of people RSVP late or completely forget, so your Mom & MOH should definitely follow up with everyone who doesn't respond after the RSVP date!
