I sent my HMUA inspiration pics and pics of me + my curly hair so they could get an idea of what we’re working with for the big day. Good luck!

Who are you using in KW? I hired a MUA there under the same circumstances, and later discovered that many of the pictures on her IG and Facebook weren’t her work.

I definitely want her to see pics of me and my hair, which is the exact opposite of yours - very fine and straight! Also, my dress and headpiece.

How did your HMUA respond? Did she sound encouraging? I'm sure it'll be fine. Please post pics!

Whew! That's a relief! And cool that we're using the same HMUA. Can't wait to see pics of how your HMU turns out! I'm glad your niece liked them. It's always good to get recommendations from people you know, isn't it?

We're using Aaron's Key West Weddings. He came with the elopement package at Sheraton Suites Key West. He's gotten really great reviews, as well, and thus far seems fine!

Thank you so much!! I will definitely look into a sunset sail. My FH used to live there and worked as a windsurfing instructor at one of the resorts many, many moons ago. Maybe he'll still know someone who can hook us up! But just in case, I'll be checking out Groupon. Thanks for the tip!

And she described what brands of makeup she works with and seems to understand what I was hoping for with my hair and makeup (natural, romantic). I think it really helped that the pictures I sent her had the same general look and same skin tone and hair color as myself so she could see the common thread I liked in all of them!
