No wedding party

Christina, on February 28, 2021 at 12:34 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 1 8
We are not having a wedding party and I’m wondering how others have/are going about this. What song will you play for walking down the isle and did you have anyone walk in pairs before you? All I have so far is my flower girl walking before me and my father.

If you have no wedding party then there is no one to walk in pairs after guests are seated. Also wouldn't have a flower girl. Do you have anyone designated to sign the marriage certificate as your legal witnesses?

You can use any song you wish. If marrying in a church you will be restricted to religious music only. But depending on the length of the aisle, there will only be a few seconds of the song played.

I do have a flower girl... and I was thinking maybe the family in the front row would be able to walk in first so the song plays long enough... just not doing the traditional wedding party and wondering what others have done during a similar ceramony 😊

Firm believer in it's your wedding do what you want.

If you want to walk out during a specific part if a song, you can always edit it to be played when you walk. You could also have a seating of the parents first and have them walk out before you in their pairs.

My wedding isn't until December but I've been thinking either A Thousand Years by Christina Perri or A Couple of Forevers by Chrisette Michele. My bridesmaids and groomsman are either Married, or have significant others, so my Fiance' wants to prevent any confusion and everyone walks by themselves. We leave the couple pairing for younger single people weddings. Lol...

I don’t have a bridal party either! Just my stepdad walking me down. We are going to play “You are the reason” by Calum Scott while I’m walking and exiting it’ll be “Why I Love You” by Major😁 I have already edited them to the parts that I want.

I did not have a wedding party, but I did have a formal processional with our minister, the groom, the grandparents, his parents, and my mom (who was escorted by my nephew) who all walked in on the same song before I walked in with my dad to a different song. It was short, but really nice.
