Nobody is Rsvping

Start calling, I know it stinks, I had to do this the first time around with no internet, lol!!! A piece of advice: When people hem and haw and say "We are just not sure" respond with "I will take that as a no as we need firm numbers." People have a hard time saying no, and I get that, but to have 120 people floating out there is irritating.

I actually made a post about this very thing, so, I sent out text messages, got quite a few more that we’re attending, sent out a final text, for those that didn’t respond, well, sorry not sorry, no food for you

Our wedding is September 13th with an RSVP deadline of August 17th. We have roughly half of the RSVPs back. I'm hoping a lot more come in the next two weeks because I don't want to have to track people down.

Our deadline was also Aug 1st.

Day of, with certain friends, we just messaged them. Today, FH started making calls to people he's close to... I will be reaching out to my side this weekend. We have 3 weeks, so we need to know.

We're already aware that some people are awaiting doctor's decisions, so they will pend for a bit.

It's so frustrating.

Ppl are so lazy its ridiculous. I still have ppl rsvping and I'm getting married in 12 days!! Its like really? I would start calling Monday

People! What is their deal? I’m sorry you have to add calling 140 people to your to do list. That’s ridiculous. I would try to divide the list between you, FH and someone else. Hopefully it can be knocked out rather quickly.

Things are already starting to look a little better. I started small and was Facebooking a few people last night. I'll make more calls today!

It's frustrating. I've been on people for their addresses so I can send the invitations out!

Hey, I'm Sept 13th too, AND our RSVP deadline was also August 1st.

I personally am waiting until tomorrow afternoon to let any late RSVPS that may still be en route come in. We had a guest list of 201, and 47 are still pending, so frustrating! I already split the pending guests up and are ready to split them between my FH, myself, and both of our mothers to make phone calls quickly.

You past the RSVP date. I think you have the right to call now

I would call and if you're doing online rsvp, I would send a reminder text message with the link. I also would post a reminder on facebook with the deadline. Ive notice a lot of my guest are just slow to rsvp, some forget, and some just don't know how. My rsvp is online and contacting my guest is what help with getting them rsvp'd . Hopefully this helps.

I would call and make an announcement on FB tagging the people you invited.

Nobody has rsvpd to me either. I'm not going to call anyone. I'm just planning for everyone to show up with a plus one

I’m in the same boat! My wedding is the week after yours and my deadline was also the 1st! I started calling and texting today. I know how frustrating it is!

I'm right there with you. Or wedding is Sept. 20th and our deadline was August 1st. Our venue requires a count a month out. Out of the 176 people invited, about 1/3 RSVP'D by the deadline. We got several on Friday and Saturday to where we're Almost to half response. I'm giving people till Wednesday then messaging with "I received two declining RSVP cards that didn't have a name or return address on it, are either of them yours?"
