So I’m trying to cut down our florist price some. I know there are non-floral centerpiece ideas out there, but I can’t seem to find an idea I truly love (even after searching Pinterest). If any of you have any photos of non-floral centerpieces you’ve seen or did PLEASE share!
Our colors are gold, blush, & navy. The feel I’m going for is classy/elegant with a touch of glam.
Haven't finished the centerpieces yet (this was a sample I made the other day), but our wedding colors are *champagne, blush, rose gold and mint* I'm glittering the base of the candles with rose gold glitter and painting the starfish and shells with gold as well.
Do you have a wedding theme or favorite ideas for centerpieces? 😊
Looking for elegant, classy, a bit glam. Colors are blush, gold, and navy. I love the idea of gold votives but needing something a little bigger as well.
I don't have any pics but i've been to a couple of weddings with virtually no flowers--one used a variety of LED tealights/votives/pillars in glass containers, just a variety of sizes and containers on each table. super simple and classy.
We did succulents transplanted into china, sterling silver, or crystal teacups, gravy boats, or teapots. We also had vintage books stacked up like this and instead of putting up Scrabble tiles we had mini notebooks that we had our guests write little notes to us that we will read on the year anniversary as their table number.
I don’t like flowers, and decided not to have any at our reception. Our centerpieces are white Moroccan style lanterns on woven chargers, with candles in them. It fits with our theme.
Something that is “you” - stacks of books, CDs... succulents, candles, pictures of you (engagement or bride/groom at a young age), vases with lights in them, pictures of things you like (maps of places you’ve been or are important to you for example)....
Example of non flower centerpiece - a tree with hanging candles and little silk flowers attached to branches. Looks really pretty. I know also floating candles on a mirror look cool too.
This is such a fantastic idea! And if you haven't decided on favors yet, why not just use these as favors but arrange them as the centerpiece, with a little note at each place setting saying to please take one when they leave? That would be two things in one AND they're super cute but glam.
We are doing while pillar candles of various heights and greenery. The favors are small potted succulents that my florist is going to incorporated into the design of the centerpiece. We are having the DJ make an announcement too to tell everyone to take theirs home.
We incorporated a lot of greenery. We are using a set of 3 floating candle votives with mini rose gold votives..and those wine stem tea light candle holders with greenery (eucalyptus) intertwined with blush roses and burgundy flowers intertwined. My florist has been amazing and really helped us stay within budget. The abundance of candles is going to be beautiful!
