Hello everyone! I'M MARRIED! It was the best night of my life! It went so much better than I could have ever imagined! I can not wait to get my pro photos back! The wait is killing me!
So what went wrong?: Only one thing! One of the groomsmen forgot his tie so he had to wear a mis matched tie, but it was at least in the same color family lol. I do not know how more stuff did not go wrong!
So what went right?: The lower guest count (50) it was so nice to spend time with everyone, BBQ meat was killer, the homemade sides were to die for, my homemade cake turned out perfectly, all my DIYs looked great, and everything started on time!
Some things I learned: People do not eat much sweets when it is hot out, Urban decay all nighter setting spray and estee lauder foundation really last all day and night!, keeping it simple helps a lot!
We only invited people who were around each other often and lived in our county. People only sat with people in the same household. The entire wedding was outdoors with plenty of space. We uploaded a video of our ceremony the next morning instead of trying to deal with a slow glitchy live video. The guests who could not make it do to COVID were very pleased to have a nice clear video to watch.
Budget Break Down: Total: $7,539 Venue4,000, Photography: $870 (including tip), DJ: $775 (including tip), BBQ Meat only catering: $390 (including tip), Paper goods: $70, Invites: $20, Wooden flowers: $200, Fresh flowers for centerpieces: $96 (could have gotten half the amount lol), Wedding party gifts: $300, DIY decor supplies: about $100, Cake & cupcakes DIY: $50 Appetizers DIY: $50, Dress: $178, Grooms attire: $40 Beer & Wine: $400 (we got way to much wine), hour spent hand making everything: Priceless.
Here is what you all came for, the photos! I will post more once we get the pro photos back!
I would not have changed a single thing!
