Non-standard engagement rings?

Mine is aquamarine. It's my birthstone and I adore it. I picked this. I plan to have aquamarine and diamond earrings for my wedding day.

I noticed that the original models are very popular now. many people I know also add memorial engravings to the inside of their rings. it's very romantic!
