Non-traditional Chicagoland Wedding Venues

Hi~

My fiance and I are looking for a wedding venue for Fall 2021 that's all-in under or around 15-18k (fees,taxes, ceremony, reception space, food and alcohol). We have about 120-135 guests on our list, looking for a wedding venue that's no more than an hour from O'hare as we have a lot of guest who will be flying in. Does anyone have any suggestions for venues that aren't your typical banquet halls -- open to tents or historic buildings. Kind of interested in a possibly a bookstore or library???

Check out the Harold Washington Library. They've got some spaces available but I dont know about the catering and stuff.

There are a ton of different venue type to filter by (mansion, winery.barn & farms, garden, boat, museum, historic, banquet, etc). You can also filter by capacity, amenities, etc.

We're getting married at the Danada House next July. Beautiful venue and if you're flexible with your date, reasonably priced. But they do book a few years out just so you know!
