Norse Wedding

Ashley, on January 23, 2024 at 3:05 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

Im having a Norse wedding that falls in line with the vision I have for the ceremony, decorations etc. But I am not sure where to start, I know that I want to make most of the decorations but for other things I am looking for a website that I could possibly go to look at bulk or wholesale if that is possible.

Can you attach pics for ideas? Idk about the rest of WW users, but I'm not too familiar with Norse weddings and it would be helpful to see what specific things you want

I'd try to go with an outdoor ceremony, even woodsy if you can swing it.

I, personally, would try to stay away from things that are too cliché, like big, thick gray furs. I do like the idea of a white fur shawl, though.Norse Wedding 1
A handfasting knot would be nice if you're into that.
I also found this list of arches to give you inspiration. Some could be made yourself if you or your fiancé or a friend are handy.

Take a look at Pinterest for ideas. Do a Google search for vendors that travel to Renaissance Faires. They will be most likely to carry decor that fits your aesthetic that you can recycle for decor in your home afterwards.
