Northeast Bachelorette Destinations

Kaitlyn, on November 5, 2019 at 5:14 PM Posted in Parties and Events 1 15
Does anyone have any good recommendations for a low-key bachelorette in the northeast? I’m thinking cool breweries/cocktail bars, not trying to be throwing up the next day hahaha also no NYC/Long Island because I live here. Thanks!

Martha’s Vineyard? The Poconos have good resorts. Niagara Falls? Philadelphia has amazing opportunities. Boston, Rhode Island and Maine also have some great places too. However, not far NE but Washington DC & Maryland are my favorite places and they definitely have great opportunities.

There’s a wine train that’s in the poconos somewhere. I’ve looked into it before (I’m in South Jersey) but can’t remember the name of it. Or you could go down to Cape May for a weekend. They have lots of B&Bs and cute restaurants and bars.

We’re considering Poconos, PA or Finger Lakes Region in NY for breweries & wine tours! There are a TON of Air BnB options!

You should look in to Blue Ridge Estate and Vineyard in Saylorsburg, PA! It's a gorgeous winery. The owners of the winery also have a rental house there as well! You can rent the house, party bus through the Pocono wine trail and visit distilleries and breweries. I believe they are able to make accommodations for catered meals at the rental home and massages as well. There is a casino not too far of a drive away if you wanted night life as well.
My fiance and I have been there countless times and I cannot recommend it enough and emphasize how great of a place it is. They honestly go above and beyond for the people that visit. (I know that sounds so generic, but honestly, I've never met such kind hearted people.)
Also, there Underground Experience wine tasting is also amazing and super touching.

We did my birthday in the Cape & loved it! Plenty of breweries, great restaurants, & fun wine bars. If you’re looking for something fun but low key, I’d say an Airbnb in the cape. It was great for me!

Okay- Northern Virginia has a WONDERFUL mall “Tyson’s Corner” that has a hotel attached. It has Seasons 52- GREAT food and drinks and cute bartenders! As well as Eddie V’s and Costal Flats.

I’m originally from NY and live in Delaware now. There are a ton of wineries throughout Jersey and Delaware and Eastern Shore of Maryland is packed with breweries(wineries too but I truthfully wouldn’t suggest it because it’s all the same very sweet wine, not a lot of variation). I did AC for mine but that doesn’t sound like what you want. Winter is coming up though and the poconos is beautiful. You can rent a house or stay at a ski lodge (don’t have to ski to enjoy)!
