Help! I have two friends who I’d like to include in my wedding as helpers to make sure things are running smoothly. My future husband wants to have a small wedding party but I’d like to include two friends to be my right hand girls other than my bridesmaid to help on the big day. I just need help...

I just need help figuring out what to call them! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

You give them a special title, it is called "bridesmaid" and the day my hubby told me how many attendants I could have would be a 98 degree day in January in Minnesota. So you have six and he has two.

If someone came to me and said, "You get to be an unpaid Day of Coordinator but we are gonna call you a Honorary Bridesmaid!" it would be VERY uncomfortable. Look, people come on WW all the time to affirm bad ideas. People are telling you it is a bad idea because it is a bad idea. You are on an Etiquette and Advice board - take the advice, please.

I was recently asked to be a brides helper and I’m totally honored to have been asked, my niece asked me and she’s much younger than me, so I wouldn’t have wanted to be a bridesmaid, but more than happy to be her personal assistant, anyway that I can help her day go smoothly I’m all for it!
