Ok as of the 25th of this month I have 30 days until taking my dress in to be altered! I have lost 22 pounds without really dieting. I hate diets! I have been exercising and have now come up with what I am calling the "S" diet. Slim fast, salad and soup! for 30 days I am going to do a diet that consists of a slim fast breakfast, salad lunch, and a soup for dinner. I will take extra vitamins, and drink LOTS of water, and continue to exercise. I will change the soups, and salad dressings so as not to get bored! and this will be a six day a week diet, and on the 7 day, I will eat smart! What do you all think? I know I can do it! When I first started I weighed 249, I now weigh 227, and want to weigh 200 or less by my wedding in 74 days!

I found adding fat free turkey lunchmeat to my lunchtime salads help fill me up. Along with some dried cranberries and a few nuts for crunch. I have a small container that is the correct portion for a salad so I don't get tempted by a whole bottle! 2% yogurt, berries, and granola are usually my breakfast. I do eat a regular dinner, however, I let hubby fix my plate so that I won't overdo it. It never looks like enough, but it is and I am full but not STUFFED. I try tofix only what we will eat for dinner so as not to have leftovers so I am forced to eat salad or a lowfat soup with nonfat crackers.

I checked out the Eat-Clean Diet website, and there's just one thing I have an issue with: "We now realize that different foods react in different ways in our body. Whereas we may lose weight on 2000 calories per day of Clean food we may gain weight on 1600 calories per day of junk."

I'm pretty sure that's not true at all. Calories are calories, and eating too many or too few is bad for your weight and your health, no matter the source.

Hi Everyone ;o). Just thought I'd share my quick weight loss program (if you will). I lost 36 lbs in about 3 months by eating Yogurt, Lemon Tuna packs w/triscuits, soup and fruit. Mix it up all you want so you don't get board. Make sure to drink at least 64oz of water each day and I did about 30 min of cardio 4 x's a week. From dancing around the house, brisk walking or treadmilling, 30 mins goes by pretty fast. Also remember, most ladies will have the arms out in our gowns so be sure to do your push ups, even if you are just slanted against a wall, they will help make the arms look great!

Just be careful with the slim fast! I was on it for a few weeks, and when I stopped, I could hardly eat anything at all. My stomach was so screwed up for weeks afterwards. Otherwise, sounds great and good luck to you! Smiley smile

I agree that eating too many or too few is bad for your health. But it depends on the TYPE of food, all calories ARE NOT equal. Although even consuming TOO much eat clean food can cause you to gain weight. They assume that you are living a active lifestyle along with the eat clean diet. I never thouhgt that I could lose weight or get the body I wanted by eating MORE food. To an average person it makes no sense. But I am active and I follow the eat clean diet and it worked for me. I guess you ahve to try it to believe it. She knows what shes talking about. Sometimes you have to tweak "diets" for your body but you will figure that out as you begin the diet and time passes. i tweak mine all the time with my training schedule depending on what I want to workon (body part) etc.

Research nutrition info on bodybuilding.com there are great dnutrition and training articles. There is alot more about food and nutrition then people realize.
