We weren't planning on doing welcome bags, but a conversation with FMIL this past weekend has me doubting whether we should.
On one hand, I think they're a nice touch and I've never heard of someone getting mad for getting one. We have a lot of guests coming from out of town, and it would be a nice gesture.
On the other hand, we have a lot of guests coming from out of town. It would be another not-small expense, and more of a "that would be nice" type of thing. My biggest concern is guests staying at different hotels. I KNOW it would turn into a whole thing if certain relatives stay at the hotel we have a block at and get a bag vs others stay at a different hotel and don't get one. Not trying to start a riot over a bottle of water and some breath mints lol.
Any advice?
