Not having a bachelor party what do you think about that

Stephen, on March 27, 2018 at 6:20 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 40
I am a Christian and want to spend my bachelor party with my FW instead of spending a lot of money and getting so wasted to the point I don't remember anything

Bachelor parties don’t have to be about drinking. I’ve had friends go to Yosemite, travelnto great surf destinations, lots of things other than Vegas and getting wasted or going to strip clubs. It is about spending time with your friends and bonding. If you don’t want to do that several people do group parties and go somewhere together with your friends. You don’t have to do any of it- do what will make you happy.

Lots of men and women go without bachelor/bachelorette parties. You can choose to spend that time with your FW if you want to.

Bachelor/bachelorette parties are typically thrown for the bride/groom by their respective bridal parties as a gift. If you have any groomsmen, I would let them know ASAP that you don't want a bachelor party, especially one with alcohol and other things a good Christian man shouldn't partake in.

I'm not sure you understand what a bachelor party is?

It is a party thrown by somebody close to you to celebrate your upcoming marriage. That's it. It can take literally any shape or form. It can be all guys, or guys and girls. It can be hanging out at home or traveling to a destination. It can be 1 person or 100 people. It's up to the person who throws the party for you (with some input from you). If nobody offers to throw you a bachelor party, you don't even have to worry about this.

Also, I don't know what being a Christian has to do with this?

I guess my husband disrespected me by being an atheist who played tennis, went out for steaks, and went to a sports bar...

My FH is thinking of going to top golf for his bachelor party. If you don't want to have a good time hanging out with friends before you get married, that's cool but you have other options for a bachelor party.

My DH went white water rafting for one friends bachelor party, and for his they went hiking in TN. They did do some whiskey tours but no one got black out drunk.

Not sure why you think that's the only option. Tell your best man (you get to choose who that is, btw, not your FW) what you want and don't want and let them plan it.

I feel like it's making a comeback. He has been in the same gaming group for almost 20 years! Even I get tired of video games at a certain point LOL.

I threw a bachelor/ bachelorette party for my sis and brother in law. We rented a house in big bear. It was very fun, relaxing.
