I really don't want to wear a wedding dress so I'm leaning towards a more casual look - thinking of a tulle skirt with a black top (ideas in pictures below) thoughts?
Wear whatever you like, however I will say that this seems like something you could wear any other day of your life. I notice your colors are white and black, but there are a lot more ways to incorporate them. If your guests will be buying outfits to attend-and many probably will- it may upset them to see you dressed so casually. This may also clash with the formality of your event. There are so many options besides standard wedding dresses these days, and personally I would encourage you to look around some more!

Cute. You are having a nontraditional wedding (earlier post comment) and this outfit will be adorable.

Agree with Jurnee. Think more about it. There are so many other choices. I would wear something like that to a backyard BBQ, not my wedding or even a guest at a wedding.
I don’t like it but it’s whatever makes you happy. I’m not really into wedding dresses either so I opted for a beautiful custom gown with minimal train .
It’s cute, but is it special? I’m all for wearing what you’d like and being comfortable. I would just say to consider if it’s unique and will make you feel like a bride.
I think the outfit is adorable! I like it, but I do agree with the others, to play devils advocate. On what other day can you be a little more extravagant? If that is not your personality, and you hate the idea of it, go for the pictured outfit! Just make sure that whatever you pick, be it a casual outfit or a huge wedding dress that you think about how you will feel looking back at that moment in 10, 20, 30+ years. If you have little doubt or feel you will have no regrets, go with your gut! Who are we to say what is right or wrong for you and your wedding day choices ultimately?
Those are the cutest outfits! It's your day and you do what you want!! If you find an awesome place to buy those tutus let me know because I've been dying for one myself!!
Those outfits are so cute. I like the idea it's unique. And that's the best thing because wedding should be about your own. It doesn't hurt to break tradition very once in a while. I'm debating about doing the same for mine.

It's "I do take two" for the both of us so we both are opting for a pretty non-traditional wedding since we both already did the "big to do". It's more like a party just to celebrate VS a "wedding". 5:30pm married in a small ceremony (30 people ish) & 7pm drinks with heavy appetizers with the rest of our close friends and family (our family is huge on both sides so it's still 125 people on the list!). It's being held in this beautiful historic hotel, but it's not overly fancy. Dress code is "dressy casual"
i didnt get to plan my my first wedding (the "moms" did - they covered the bill though so we happily let them!) so 12 years later I'm enjoying getting to do the planning this time around 😁
