November 2020 bride : Timeline help, ceremony at 4pm

Ciera, on October 3, 2020 at 10:56 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 4
Can I get some help with wedding timeline with a ceremony starting at 4pm no later than 4:15. We are 11/14/2020 in Texas so daylight saving will play a part. We have a 13 hour rental starting at 10:30 ending at 11:30 but reception ending with a send off from 9:30-10 last hour will be for clean up.

We aren’t doing father daughter or son and mom dances, but will have bridal party entrance and first dance.

Okay so happy November bride twin. Ummm I am doing a minimony but do you need to set up the venue? Who will do that? Delegate because your day will be spent getting ready. Here is my timeline but we are not doing a formal reception afterwards.

    Me personally:

Brunch with MOH and a friend at 10 ish

Hair and make up 12:30 allotting 2 hours.

Arrive at venue by 3 or 3:30

3:30 get ready with MOH (FH will get ready at 3 and be outside taking his solo pics or finishing up outside our getting ready room as we only have one at the venue)

    4 or 4:15 ceremony (only about 10 - 15 minutes)

    4:30 - 6 Pics and a cake cutting

6 we need to leave our venue because we have for three hours but still an hour on pictures.

7 head to a rooftop lounge for dinner after with my MOH and her hubby and then eat, drink and chill.

For you I would say all would be the same but have people not in the wedding party help set up the venue (maybe a day of coordinator)

If all your wedding party and mother are needing hair and make up done professionally then you need to talk to your HMUA to establish a time. I would say you all should be at the venue maybe an hour early to get ready and take pics.

I completely understand. I am going to speak with my photographer next week sometime to see if my proposed timeline works but basically it's been me talking to my officiant, the venue and what were allowed to do within the timeframe as well as with the photographers will do so I would also reach out to them. Also you can talk to your hair and makeup artist because I told her what time I need to be at the venue and in turn she was able to say okay well then come get your hair and makeup done by this time. Now it's only me and the maid of honor and my maid of honor is doing her own hair and makeup so they're putting aside 2 hours just for me so it could be the same for you.

I'm a Nov bride as well, I honestly haven't even thought of my timeline yet. I just know ceremony is starting at 3:00 that will probably end around 3:30 then that will start Cocktail hour for my guest while I take pictures before the sunset and last call for alcohol is at 7:30 pm. Now the in between I need to work out as well lol

My wedding will be reception style so everyone will already be in their seats, I may have some flexibility with my timeline.
