You can't control anyone's circumstances, of course, so maybe you could take an informal poll of the family and friends that you most want to see at your wedding. Their responses may help you decide your next step. In the end, you should make the decision that feels right for you.

Hi Erin! I’m getting married 9.25 in Cleveland. Still holding out hope that we’ll be okay for approx 100 people by then.


It’s still so early, I’d definitely wait on making any decisions but I totally understand how you feel. Honestly I think the WW forums and some of the bridal groups I’m in on Facebook are making it worse because it is the ONLY thing anyone is talking about right now. Don’t get me wrong, obviously I understand it’s top of mind for many brides, but I think we can do ourselves a disservice by reading too much of that. It just compounds the negativity and increases the stress and anxiety in my opinion!
Where are you at in your planning process, vendor payments, etc? I would say for now, try to take a deep breath and continue enjoying the planning process, and re-evaluate in July or August.
