View Quoted Comment The only thing I have left is paying everyone off...I set up the day before and the only thing is I did and made everything myself so I have to set up my myself but I do have my kids to help also

It's going great I'm close to done. Now I have family issues, with my dad coming to walk me down the aisle. He stays in Chicago and he has siblings that stay there too. Why won't they bring him here with them, they are saying they don't have enough room. But it's five of them with 5 cars, am I missing something .

Close to done is an amazing spot to be in. Sorry to hear about your dad! It doesn't sound like you are missing anything!! Surely one of them would have room for him, right?? I'm so sorry. That's the kind of stress you can't just check off a list, so it takes a toll. Hopefully you have updates from someone in your family soon to make that happen.

Getting caught up on this thread ladies and I just have a kind gentle reminder - make sure you all take care of yourselves FIRST as your wedding date nears. It's soooo easy to get lost in all of the details and if we're not healthy and fully mentally available on our days, what was it all for?!

(so much easier said than done, I am guilty of putting myself last)

Hang in there everyone! Our days are going to be incredible. Remember, only WE will notice if things don't go 100% according to plan - no one else will!

November 6th we are having the reception be navy blue and gold. Gold candlesticks blue taper candles, blue table runner, napkins laying over the side of the table under a gold rimmed charger. Tiffany chairs with woven navy chair sashes and a little greenery throughout the long reception table of….30! Destination wedding has its perks. Serving charcuterie board then plated quinoa salad, guests have an option of lobster smashed potatoes and baby vegetables, pork belly with local sweet potatoes, and grilled octopus with black risotto. Had to replan my wedding in less than two months because Dreams Tulum resort was an actual nightmare no one could get a room.

Huge question ladies. Having trouble getting my license. Think i waited too late to apply. Clerk office is backed up, wedding is November 11th. No appointments available. Im panicking. Can I still have the ceremony at my venue without the license in hand?
