November 2023 Bride

Katie, on March 1, 2022 at 9:13 PM Posted in Planning 3 12

Hi everyone!

I am a November 2023 bride, and I want to start booking all of my vendors to have plenty of time to plan the rest of the more minor details. Is it too early to book some vendors? I already have the venue, caterer, and photographer booked.

I want to call around to florists for quotes, but I'm not sure they will give me an accurate quote or not since I'm over a year away.

I'm also looking for some rental or buying sites for decor (vases for centerpieces, candles, etc.) let me know if you have any suggestions Smiley smile

Hi Katie! Congratulations. I’m a November ‘23 bride as well. No your definitely not early. I’ve started planning too. I’ve booked the venue, caterer, and DJ. The venue and DJ are in high demand in my area. I can’t wait to dress shop.

Congratulations everyone. November ‘23 is coming up fast. We are doing most of our wedding DIY, but still the venue, DJ and other things are getting booked as soon as possible. The rate that prices are going up, we are locking in low rates now. We just booked our cabin in Tennessee for the week of Thanksgiving at $114 per night. I am so excited to start getting to know other brides and share tips, thoughts, and advice.

NEVER to early to plan and book ! We book our venue in 2021 for our 2023 wedding .... so definitely saved big time there (they honor the prices quoted at time of deposit) DJ, Photographer & Wedding Officiant are done. I got a lovely quote from the florist, and will be booking them within the next 2 weeks. I also shopped around for Makeup artist ... still on the fence about that, but got some good advice here on these forums so will consider all suggestions and go from there. I know what invitations I want and played around on their website for save-the-dates. Hmmmm, Oh, attendant dresses are mocked up and will start getting made once my bff flies in in May for her visit and tries it on. I have my dress & shoes. SOOOOO, yep, do as much as you can now and ignore all the naysayers!! Have fun.

Never too early! I’m doing the same thing as you, starting early. Why wait?! We don’t want to feel overwhelmed with a huge price tag at the end so why not pay vendors off little by little.

I’m not sure of your location but here in NY I’ve been able to find some ladies on Instagram who do party planning and decorating. I’ll be renting some decorations from one of them. She’ll be doing drop off and pick up the day of. Hopefully you’ll be able to find someone on Instagram in your area the way I have.
Happy planning and congratulations my fellow November 2023 bride!!

HURRAY November 2023 brides! I am about to book a venue in D.C. Earlier the better, I say. I agree with everyone above you, you might be able to lock in cheaper rates. When we did venue shopping some places were giving me a price increase already since I am booking in 2023 even though we are in 2022. So, only imagine what number they might give us for next year. Cannot wait to see everyone pics of our big day.

Hey Katie!!! We are getting married 11/11/2023 and already have in mind who we want for venue, photographer, catering, and florist just haven’t been able to book officially yet but it’s never too early to start!!! Before you price separate decor I would look into florist first, a lot of florist also provide centerpiece decor and much more. The florist we want offers a lot more than just flowers so I would check into that first it’s probably cheaper in the long run if you can get a good deal on a package! Happy planning! 😊

Nov 2023 here as well. We've booked the venue, photographer, DJ, photobooth and rehearsal dinner spot. It was a big relief to get all of those in place and feel a bit more relaxed about the remaining bookings. Next up will be day of coordinator and officiant. I want to solidify my decor vision more before booking the florist and baker.

Try Oriental Trading Company for centerpieces and other decor items. They also do personalized napkins, cups, candy labels for favors and a ton of other stuff. Irk what your budget is like but all of their options are pretty affordable. Congratulations on the wedding and good luck!!!!

November 2023 bride here too! First, congrats to all!

I only have my venue booked as well as my DJ. Got plenty of quotes for photography but just trying to enjoy being engaged before we really get the ball rolling.

    Hi Katie,
First, congrats! I know this post is a little over a month old but no it's not too early girl. Planning something as big and as detailed as a wedding one can never be too early😉Our wedding date is Nov 12, 2023. I bought my dress in September last year, I've got my venue booked and it's a one stop shop. They're doing the cake, catering, dj, parking lot attending the whole 9 yards. We're getting married at my Dad's church so we're saving a couple coins there. I'm also making my bridesmaids tote bags this weekend. So again, it's definitely not too early.
