November honeymoon?

Cami, on July 9, 2021 at 11:08 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 8
What is everyone doing for their honeymoon? Weddings in November.
Not hate please but we are choosing to not get vaccinated.
So I need travel ideas that require no vaccine?

Ours in on October but it’s not a super great time of the year to travel weather wise anyways. So many places have so much covid restrictions that we decided just to do something smaller and local and go a national park road trip and see the fall colors and then go to on a bigger trip in a few years. We booked everything through AAA and trey were amazing at helping us pick where to go and activities to do! Good luck

You'll likely have to stay in the U.S. without a vaccine.

And as long as you're respectful of social distancing and mask wearing as an unvaccinated person there are plenty of local southern destinations that will likely be warm enough.

You could shoot for New Orleans or do something in New Mexico/Texas.

Really depends on what kind of honeymoon you're wanting. Travel and adventure, or relaxing?

My husband and I are going to Mexico in October since we were unable to go anywhere last year. We have 4 friends that are coming with us as well (2 are not vaccinated & it isn't required for them to be, they just need to produce a negative test upon returning to the US).

Anywhere you can drive to from your location would work without vaccines. Thank you for continuing to wear masks and use social distancing to keep everyone you encounter safe and to prevent the variants from spreading!

Totally depends on what vibe you’re looking for, budget and how far you’re willing to travel!

There are plenty of places you can go to without a vaccine, as long as you are ok with doing PCR testing 48-72hrs prior to a flight, keep wearing your mask and social distance.
What do you want to do during your honeymoon and how long do you want to go for?

My fiancé and I are planning on getting married next summer, but we are thinking that we want to go to Savannah, Georgia for our honeymoon. I think somewhere like that (or New Orleans, the only reason we didn’t pick that is because we’re in Houston so it’s pretty close to us, plus we want something a bit quieter for our honeymoon) would be SUPER nice in November because the weather should be perfect! There’s also lots of restaurants, history, etc. if you like that kind of thing, and if you’re in the US then you could drive if you don’t think you’d be able to fly. If you want something more outdoorsy then I think a National Park would be good, and you wouldn’t even have to worry about masking and stuff for the most part because it’s all outdoors and fairly isolated haha
