Nude underlay - thoughts?

I know this has been asked hundreds of times but here’s my anxiety. Fell in LOVE with a dress. Nude underlay. Got home and wasn’t sure I loved the photos. Did any of you regret a nude underlay? It’s the most comfortable dress and I didnt want to take it off but nervous about the nude. Ive tried it on 3 times.. and loved it every time. I know iPhone photos do these things no justice. Help!

    I think illusion dresses have been a wedding style for some time now. What are you your concerns?

    They appear slightly “dark” or dull in some photos. But it’s also iPhone photos (aka not professional) and prob. Not the best lighting.

    Well, your photographer will be sure to touch up any lighting issues. But, maybe you can post a pic for WW to advise? Did you purchase this yet? If not, I think if you have doubts you should keep looking or ask if the designer has other shades or fabric options. I know as a tan person myself, it is hard to even find skin complementary nylons.

    Thank you! It’s so hard bc I love it in person. Pic attached. The top half is the nude underlay the bottom half she was showing me with an ivory underlay but I think it takes away from the dress. I may delete as to not show family lol but here it is

    This looks like the same underlay in different lighting. So it’s messing with me. Lol my mom said it doesn’t look dark in person at all.

    Beautiful dress! I agree with you, I prefer the all-nude throughout as it brings out the gorgeous design. I think a cappuccino underlay that is different from your skin tone, works well for the sheerer side panels and V to stand out. I don't think you or the dress looks dull at all. But, it's up to you if it's not everything you want.

    To add, I'm wondering if the designer could swap out the white sheer side panels and V for a deeper nude color. My dress offered that.

    Thank you!! The V sheer piece is actually a very pretty color (i usually dont like them). but maybe the sides?

    All nude is great to make the detail pop. If it were white the lace would look boring. Personally I think lace only looks good when it has a nude underlay.

    Now stop thinking about other dresses and what ifs! Your dress looks great on you

    I loved my nude underlay!!
    Actually the dress I tried on in the store was ivory underlay and looking at pics side by side the nude is much better— the ivory one all the detail of the overlay was lost.
