NWR: Do you have an Open or Closed Door Policy? *may be TMI*

In strange circumstances, open....but for the most part closed. I don't think either is strange.

Closed. We share a teeny one bedroom, one bath apartment. So toilet time is about the only alone time we get! Also, I think it's important to preserve a little mystery.

DH walked in on me the other day, I screamed and slammed the door in his face. I need my time.

Very open. We have had all out conversations while the other is doing the do, lol.

While we do have an open door policy... the only thing I won't go for is when it's... "cleaning" time. That's pretty much where I draw the line for either one of us. It's my "ew" factor.

Uhhh...both? If it's open while either of us is peing, what ever, grab what you need. But if the door is closed, yeah, no. Don't come in. He knows if the door is clsoed when I'm in there, wait, or if you need something important when he's packing to fight forest fire, then knock and ask.

TMI i'm sure but I have no desire to have him see me wipe lol. so if he wants to brush his teeth when i pee sure go ahead, but i will be sitting on that toliet until i get some privacy

Hahah... I'm the same way Nicole. I just can't get past that.

LeeLee we do that as well! Some of our thought out deep conversations takes place while one of us is on the toilet. lol

Closed door.

When NotFroofy first came to this country, she carefully closed the door before using the bathroom. After a bit of time, I pointed out that I'd already seen anything she could possibly be exposing, so there was no need to close the door. We now have an open door policy, but it took a while.

There was a lady that I knew that never farted in front of her husband... they had been married for at least 20 years at that point. How can you NOT do that? (Yeah, slightly off topic. It's all good)

Typically closed for peeing unless one of us is already in the shower and the other needs to go. Otherwise, we ask each other to step out for a minute. There have been rare occasions while tipsy where we've ended up peeing while the other was present. Always without watching.

When it comes to #2...most definitely absolutely positively CLOSED.

To us, no matter how comfortable we are with each other and how much we've seen, we prefer a little modesty and privacy when it comes to bathroom...activities.

It entirely depends on so many things.

Im normally an extremely private person and would not be caught dead with the door open. but over time of being together, I am slowly becoming more comfortable with that sort of thing. Not all the time though

He's always open door for #1, he could care less. #2 is ALWAYS closed, for both him and I.

Myself and my FH have a difference of opinion on this...he is closed door while I am open door! He finds it weird but I dont like the enclosed space so open the door - and since the door is open I talk! If i even attempt to ask him a question while he is behind his closed door he will not answer!! I find it all rather funny unless i need an answer then ana there and he wont speak to me!

We're open door if its #1. Closed door if #2. HAHA.

I'm usually closed and he is open. He really likes to talk while he's in there, the reason why I have a "closed" door is beacuse of habit, I rarely lock it though so if he wanted to he could come in, and sometimes he does.

Like a lot of others have posted, open for #1, closed and LOCKED for #2. Because of the little one, I learned to not care if the door was open when I peed. I still refuse to wipe if FH or LO (little one) is in the bathroom though.

CLOSED... I prefer to keep some things private, and keep that feminine mystique alive and well

I really just don't want him to see me on the toilet... lol!! We have been married for over a year and I close the door every time. I don't see that changing without some major life event triggering it, like having kids... I hear they like to follow their moms into the bathroom... haha

Same as most of you. Open for 1, closed for 2, and neither of us will get off the toilet in front of each other.
