NWR: Do you have an Open or Closed Door Policy? *may be TMI*

My fiance and I have an open door policy. We're just that comfortable with each other. I'll be sitting there and he'll be chillin' at the door having a conversation with me. LOL. It's very rare that we close the door... and the only time that we mandatory close the door, is when company is over (that would be awkward).

    Open door for sure, in the beginning number twos were private but now we don't really are. Well I dont, which is weird since I am the girl Usually guys dont care but my FH still has issues with me being in the bathroom or the door open when he does his number twos but he is warming up to the idea.

    Haha I was just reading some of the comments and I must add I have no issues wiping in front of him unless its number two and even with that he can turn away or just be outside the door talking but I have no issues wiping if its number one

    Def Closed! I've always been really weird like that tho. I don't even like going #2 when he (or anyone else) is in the house. When I was younger and lived with my parents I had to wait till everyone was gone or asleep! Weird... I know!

    And Robin- Kids most def. follow you in the bathroom! My 3 y/o especially! He just opens the door and "Hey Mommy! Whatcha doin?!" lol My 6 y/o likes to have conversations thru the door. it's nuts.

    At first my sweety thought open was ok.. till he was watching a comedian who said " he didn't want to know what his wife was doing in the bathroom because he sometimes ate at that buffet" now not only is the door closed I have to tell him "I am powdering my nose" { from an old movie}

    CLOSED.

    I find this topic disturbing. Why in the world would you want your bodily fluids/crap to be shared like that? When the toilet gets flushed, all that stuff comes floating up and goes everywhere (which is why you're not supposed to leave your toothbrush out of the cabinet.) I seriously doubt you all flush with the lid cover down.

    And to the person who said the wife never farted in front of the husband: How does one keep themselves from farting while they sleep? Smiley winking

    Open for 1 closed for 2. Giving birth in front of someone kinda takes away the "mystery" lol, but I still want my privacy for #2. I don't think he cares... but I don't like smelling other people's crap haha!!

    And Ruby, ever since I watched the Mythbusters episode of the poo on the toothbrush I ALWAYS close the lid lol!!!

    I am always closed. I have just recently started warming up to the idea of peeing while he is in the shower. I just can't. He will pee with the door open but always knows that I prefer him to shut it when he goes number 2. I talk to him through the door while he's doing it but still. Never open.

    As for the farting comment. I have only ONCE farted in front of my husband. Aside from when I was sleeping obviously. It's something I've never been able to do in front of anyone. Even my bff/roomie in college I would step out of the room and fart and come back in. He rips them whenever he needs to but I just can't.

    100% closed and locked we do not like the idea of seeing the other on the toilet. I also do not do #2 if he is home I wait till he goes to work. I'm weird I know even in the dorm in college I waited till everyone was out then id go. Im a very private person.

    "CLOSED... I prefer to keep some things private, and keep that feminine mystique alive and well Smiley winking"

    I agree with this. I keep the door closed at all times, it's not a matter of being uncomfortable around FH, I just don't feel the need to pee and poop in front of him. He has come in while I was peeing before, and I didn't mind but I made him leave so I could wipe. I'd flip if he came in while I was going #2, and he doesn't let me in the bathroom while he's going either (and I don't mind, I understand the need for privacy). He will pee with me in the bathroom though, but it's usually while I'm in the shower or brushing my teeth.

    I have also never farted in front of him (while awake, though he has never said he's heard me in my sleep either). I just think it's weird when girls sit around farting all the time, and I prefer to leave the room or something if I absolutely have to. *shrug* I think getting TOO comfortable isn't really always a good thing.

    Closed. No questions asked. I am more than happy with a totally closed-door policy.
