NWR: Do you have an Open or Closed Door Policy? *may be TMI*

My fiance and I have an open door policy. We're just that comfortable with each other. I'll be sitting there and he'll be chillin' at the door having a conversation with me. LOL. It's very rare that we close the door... and the only time that we mandatory close the door, is when company is over (that would be awkward).

Umm..yeah. I am with Aquilla on this one. The FH has no problem with keeping the door open. Me - CLOSED each and every time. I can't help it. LOL!

We differ, he closes, because he can't get things done if he knows someone could be watching, but for some things we are both open, the door is almost never closed all of the way (cept some circumstances and rightly so...) and never locked.

I guess you would say open door, because when the door is closed we just walk right in on one another. We are just in the habit of shutting the door because of our dog, and cats

Also, we have a saying when one of us is trying to talk to the other while they're on the toilet- a quote from my crazy little old italian FMIL- "For christsakes can I piss?! Can I piss please?!"

Definitely closed and LOCKED. It's my only escape in the house. There are times I baracade myself in there with a good book just so I can get away from FH and the catSmiley smile Doesn't always work though. if I'm in there for more than 2 hours it's not long before I start to hear knocking and meowing at the door. I shudder to think what will happen when we have kids. I may need to rent an apartment on the sideSmiley smile

I kind of understand the whole mystery feminine thing, but not fully. We all poop and pee, our SO *should* know that, so it's really not a mystery as much as a 'not to gross out the SO's that don't like the policy' kind of deal.

Open when peeing, closed when anything else. My FH on the other hand closes and LOCKS the door when he's pooing hahahha. His dad is one of those people who likes to barge into the bathroom to talk, so, even though we have lived together for 7 years, he still locks the door. It annoys the hell out of me....but then, I guess I'm a barger too Smiley winking haha

My cat does not let me get away with shutting the door though. She thinks something magical happens in there are doesn't want to miss out. When I shut the door, she'll stop whatever she's doing to come over and scratch it until I open it haha
