NWR- HAS ANYONE TRIED 21 DAY FIX??

Sarah, on October 2, 2015 at 7:59 AM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 18

I have been trying to find a plan that I would be able to keep up with. I am a student, working and wedding planning all full time and I want to lose some serious inches! Have you had any luck on that plan or any other ones? My diet is pretty clean but I am having a hard time fitting in any workouts. Any advice is helpful! Thank you WW ladies Smiley smile

I have 21 Day Fix. I really like it! I have a lot of the beachbody programs and I think most of them are great! The only one I really couldn't get into was Piyo. I'm just not a yoga girl. I try so hard... but it just isn't happening for me.

I don't do the eating plan for 21 Day Fix, because I'm the pickiest eater of all time. But I do like the program and how it throws in a LITTLE weight stuff because I felt like it toned a bit more than the other programs.

I have it, I just never finished it. I can't do the repetitiveness of the beachbody programs. I will warn you the meal planning part is a lot of work. At least I thought it was.

I lost 11lbs my first round and several inches. However, I have not been as disciplined since then. Like @mrs1780 said, the meal planning can be a pain.

Yup, I love it. I just finished my first round of fix extreme. I have to admit that I use the meal plan as more of a guideline rather than follow it exactly. I keep seeing results though, just slower to come. From May to now I have lost about 10 pounds doing fix and fix extreme. I didn't have much to lose though so I was never aiming for extreme results.

I like that the program has many different moves that you do, often including weights. I find it keeps me from getting bored. I'm not a huge cardio fan either so I like that it kind of sneaks that in even on the non-cardio days and makes me do it.

I do them, but like others have said I don't really use the meal plan. I know what's healthy and not, and good serving sizes already. I usually just compliment either this one or insanity with my cardio runs. I lose the most weight buy just going on hour long walk/jogs no matter how pathetic they are.

I did! I just did the meal plan and not the workouts, no time! With JUST sticking to the meal plan for 21 days, I lost 9 pounds. It would've been more if I had used the workouts!

I have it and have done it in full for 2 rounds. I really liked it and saw good results when I followed the serving sizes in the plan and did the exercise. I lost 10 Ibs my first round of 21 day fix. Now I mostly just do exercises from my various DVDs, walk, and keep my portions. I do like the containers you get.

I have it but didn't find it helpful. The thing that has worked the best for me is insanity. Right now I am doing walks/running and hopping the weight comes off and e=mc2 just gave me inspiration haha

I am on my 3rd week of 21 day fix and have lost almost 10 pounds. FH has lost 11. We are following the meal plan and I am doing the workouts (he did them week 1 and then fell off). We bought the fixate cookbook which has been a really good resource for meal planning/prep. It is a lot of work, but it's been worth it!

I didn't get through it. I tried it, but hated using the little containers. I've been doing Fit Girls Guide this week, and so far I really like it. I'm down 2 pounds this week and I have been doing a crappy job of following it because I didn't get enough food to make for me and FH and I haven't had the chance to get back to the store. My own fault for rushing through my grocery trip.

I hated it and gained weight, but I like the workouts.

What is the eating plan like? I do WW but havent been successful lately since I choose what I can eat. I need something new. I'm going to look into this. This morning I steped on the scale and was really upset with what I have done to myself. Ive gained like 20 lbs since we got engaged.. I shouldve done the opposite.

I loved the workouts and the meal plan! I don't do it consistently, but every time I do it and stick to the meal plan I lose about 7 lbs in 3 weeks. More if I don't cheat at all and do extra workouts. I usually modify the meal plan a little to eat carbs after 6, eat an extra serving or carbs or protein depending on my extra workouts, and allow some not "clean" foods like certain protein bars or allowing more healthy treats than the limited 3x per week. Sometimes those individually packaged bags of Pirates Booty or a chocolate chip Quest bar keep me sane, and I don't believe that they ruin my diet! Meal planning is hard, but for me that's the only way to be successful. My FH helps. We cook most of our food for the week on Sundays and portion it out. We usually use the crockpot for any midweek meals, or quickly grill turkey burgers or roast veggies midweek.

I love the 21 day fix. It as work well for me and many others on my team. As a BB coach the most important and difficult thing to hold people accountable is the meal planning. Meal planning and eating right is the most important. The containers work great but it does take a while to get use to. I have a year till my wedding, so I know I have plenty of time.

I did the 21 day fix completely once. I lost a few inches and like 6 lbs, which immediately came back on because I didn't keep the behavior change after I was done. I tried to do it again, but I want to slap autumn really hard. Honestly I'm way better off having invested in a food scale, counting calories and going spinning/walking/generally being more active.

Wow! I knew you ladies would be helpful. So the general opinion is to try the workout but meal planning is tough. I do meal prep Sundays anyhow.. I think the most tough part is squeezing in the workouts. Maybe I will try to look up some workouts online and go from there.

I do think the workouts are great. I find it easiest to get it done first thing in the morning. It's only 30 minutes and I feel so much better and energetic when it's done.

And to save some money you can become a "coach". I don't try to get other people to sign up or anything, but you get 25% off, so that's a pretty sweet deal and you can stop after one month. I think the start up cost is waived too if you get it as a challenge pack, which is basically you get to try the shakes for free then and pay less shipping? Idk i can send you one of my old teammates sent me, she doesn't "sell" either but just knew i used the shakes regularly and showed it'd save me like $20.
