NWR: Have you ever met/seen someone famous in person?

Oh and i never met her but my dad and my friends aunt and my old dance teacher all new Toni Braxton. She went to my high school when she was younger and my dance teacher was her dance teacher back then. I also knew her niece who i went to school with. She use to live down the street from me and i went over to her house to play video games and she showed me her dad's(Toni's Brother) music studio in their basement where they kept all their family photos with Toni in them.

I met michael j fox he was in town doing somthing i cant remember i was little all i know is we were in florida. i also met matthew west at my work and andi macdowell at a food market here in nc!

This is a fun post! I've met Greg from the Brady Bunch, Vanilla Ice, Jessica Simpson, and Candace Cameron - all from being a restaurant server in my early 20's.

I met system of a down... My best friends dad was the tour bus driver so we met them in west palm and they paid for our hotel room at the four seasons then invited us to ozzfest to be back stage. where we met some other people like rob zombie and ozzy. They were very polite and after the show they offered to buy us tacobell. I was in middle school at the time and only listened to country music so I did not know they were such a big deal. A few months later I saw them perform on SNL!

Living in NYC, I've had the opportunity to see and meet a bunch of celebrities. Now I work in media and actually work on an entertainment show sometimes, so I've gotten to meet and chat with a bunch of folks. I actually rode the elevator with Joey Fatone from N'Sync today!

Some favorites:

Hugh Jackman - I actually "interviewed" him for a paper I was doing about Broadway shows. He was in Boy from Oz on Broadway at the time. SO nice and helpful!

Neil Patrick Harris - I heard he was coming in on a day I wasn't supposed to be there, but I came in anyway. Didn't even get paid for that day! Hanging out with NPH for half an hour was payment enough!

Andy Samberg - I was at 30 Rock when he was filming a digital short for SNL. He was waiting to go up in an elevator while I was waiting to go down. He was wearing nothing but a bathrobe and a leg warmer. Not sure if there was anything else under the robe though!

Patrick Stewart - Saw him in Hamlet in England. Very gracious.

My cousin is a catcher for the LA Angels, does that count? Lol

Other than that, I met Screetch from Saved by the Bell once haha. And I met all of the members of the Deftones and Incubus at a concert. It was awesome.

Linda Hamilton at a fund raiser for abused children or something. The bartenders were all soap opera actors but I don't watch soaps so sorry, can't tell you who they were.

We saw Mr. Jefferson at the airport. Sherman Hemsley but he was not very nice.

Shana, I'd love to meet Andy! Hh seems like such a funny guy! lol but.. then.. I guess that's what he gets paid for eh?

I forgot! My friends' cousin was one of the guys in 10 Things I Hate About You (can't remember if she said it was the main character or his buddy.. I don't remember seeing the movie) and I met him when they were here visiting. I didn't know he was in that movie.. funny.. I'm horrible with celebrities.

I used to work at a Chilis right off of a major comuter freeway and right next to our arena so iv met Ashley Simpson who tried to pretend she WASNT Ashley Simpson. she was with the band her ex husband was in so i met them too. they were nicer than she was.

and Millisa Joan Heart from Clarissa Explains it All lol or Sabrina the Teenage which. she was SUPER preg at the time and her toddler son was ADORABLE. her and her husband were super nice and polite and she is seriously half the size of her husband he is MASSIVE!

I had dinner with Tyler Florence at his restaurant (The Wayfare) in SF. It was fan-freaking-tastic! We sampled everything on the menu, and he's really nice! Got a birthday card from him this year too!

I went to high school with Venessa Bayden (she was the cousin on Gullah Gullah Island and the sister on keenan and kel lol)

And I met Chris Jerico at a cd signing... hes in a band but most people know him from the WWE lol

OH and my FSIL's BIL just got drafted to the NBA... Houston Rockets... so maybe he will be famous soon too lol

OH And I have seen Chris Kirkpatrick (nsync) downtown every once in awhile... he's fat now though and nobody really knows who he is anymore lol

I saw Kevin Costner in a hotel coming out of the elevator with a very young, and very blonde lady! That was several years ago.

I've met quite a few famous athletes.

I can't think of anyone else right now!

I kissed John Travolta at the Car Show in Philly during his "Welcome Back Kotter" days.

I went to Widener and the Philadelphia Eagles practiced there. My job was to check them off the roster when they entered the cafeteria to prove they had eaten. So, I have met and had conversation with Bill Bergey, Ron Jaworski and all of the Eagles in that year(1979).

I met the short Gibb brother after his Philly performance of "Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat".

My ex and I sat next to Amy Carter and her Secret Service detail at Live Aid. My ex's brother in law is/was a big wig with Ticketmaster, so our seats were VIP.

PreFrank single days, I have partied a few times with former Philadelphia Flyer, from the Broadstreet Bully Days, "The Hammer". No, I refused to be another notch on his hockey stick, so it was adios for him after 2 meetings

Pre Frank single days, I was on a local radio station's "Dating Game" on Valentines day. I met the "Beaver" He was gross.

I once sat Rick Moranis for dinner at the restaurant I was working at. Totally didn't realize it was him until he left. Kept talking about it the whole night. Other than that, I've met Pandora Boxx and Alexis Mateo. Drag Queens are about as famous as it gets. ^_-

Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, and Eva Mendes are filming a movie in the town where I live...I haven't met them, but I did see Ryan from across the street while they were shooting a scene at my bank. My coworker met Bradley Cooper at a coffee shop yesterday morning. They'll be in town until sometime in September so I'm hoping I run into them, lol.

I met Drew Barrymore at Lollapalooza in the 90s.

And I met James Rudo, the writer and producer of the movie and Broadway show Hair on the subway in NYC (my friends and I were singing it and he happened to be sitting there).

I met Dustin Hoffman in Washington Square Park when they legalized pot for the day in NYC - ahem (when they used to do that).

I met Ian Anderson, the singer of Jethro Tull, at a balloon festival in Sussex County.

I saw but didn't meet Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and Vin Diesel at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas when I stayed there for a billiard tournament.

I grabbed Slash from Guns and Roses at a concert when I was 16. He smiled at me.

Living in Nashville TN, see them all the time. Not just Country Music stars. Never know who you walk past downtown. Alot of times you don't even realize it is them until someone points them out. I have seen Ty from Extreme Home Makeover a few times hanging out downtown. Ran into Kid Rock on the sidewalk, Gavin Degraw, Poison, Motley Crew, Chris Young, Kenny Chesney, Charlie Daniels, John Rich, Eddie George just to name a few. they like to hang out here because most people are used to it and doesn't go up to them, they are treated normal.

Working at a famous army hospital a lot of stars come to visit.
