NWR: Have you ever met/seen someone famous in person?

Apparently when I was about 2, I met Ricky Martin. He was just a kid and part of that boy band, Meneudo or whatever their name was. Other than that, I saw Neve Campbell during a private studio tour at Fox Studios in LA. I also sat in Terry Bradshaw's chair while I was there.

As far as musicians, Billy Corgan handed me his water cup at a Smashing Pumpkins concert once. I've met the Dropkick Murphys a few times, Gavin Rossdale shook my hand, the singer for Fuel, Tim Armstrong from Rancid, Tom from Blink-182. There's others I can't think of right now. Oh oh lol I met Jordan Knight from New Kids on the Block. He signed my leg cast.

My best friend used to work for a big fancy hotel in NYC and he met lots of people. He said he talked to Drew Barrymore on the phone and she told him he's "really rad" lol.

I've met a few celebs, alot of pro wrestlers live in my area. If anyone follows WWE, I've met "Edge"(Adam, really laid back and said he liked getting paid to kiss "Leita" when they were on WWE), "The Rock", Brain "Nasty Boy" Knobbs, and Hulk Hogan was a customer of mine. He was great, always made time for all the kids that followed him. Ive met John Travolta and Kelly Preston a few time thanks to our county being one of the biggest Scientology bases. I met Dane Cook when he did a free show at USF way back before he was a big hit on TV. FH met "Winnie Cooper" from the wonder years when he was in Kosovo. I met Stevie Nicks when I was 12, step mom took me to her concert and a lady went into labor, step mom is a nurse so her and the crew helped the woman go backstage and wait for an ambulance but had her baby while waiting. Met Aaron Lewis while at a small accustic concert at the Hard Rock cafe in Orlando

Ive met a handful of the Tampa Bay Bucs players, some from the New Orleans saints and the NY Giants..ALOT of Phillies players because their spring training field is here and alot of the retired ones live were FH works. Alot of smaller celebs appear around here but not many A-List like you ladies!

The teacher in my daughter's civics class once asked a similar question. I think my daughter brought the entire class to a stop after she told how her grandmother (my mother) was involuntarily felt up by Senator Joe McCarthy. Yes, along with all his other faults, he had wandering hands.

We were in a little coffee shop in idlewild, Ca on Easter in 2008 and Jack Nicholson walked in. He was with his family and he literally stood right behind us in line. A little while later when I was coming out of the bathroom, he was waiting at the door. I walked right by him. We didn't say anything because, to be honest, he didn't look too friendly. But on top of that, we didn't want to interrupt his Easter with his family either.

I met Jesse James at this big bike rally where I live, he's a jerk, not gonna lie. I also got to meet my child hood hero Jeremy McGrath. I got to stand in his tent at a trophy truck race and I got his autograph on an old mx jersey. I also got to meet Ricky Johnson there. I got to meet a bunch of LeMans drivers, including Mika Salo, who used to be a 3rd driver for Ferrari Formula 1.

I've also met a few super models. My uncle did a video shoot in NYC and I got to work on set. I met Alyssa Sutherland and Kemp Muhl. I got to spend a day shopping with Kemp. We went down 5th ave. and got lunch. It was pretty cool, but shes a total hippie and half the time I had no idea what she was talking about. Granted she is dating Sean Lenin, John Lenin's son... I also got to meet Chris Backus. I guess he used to play baseball then hurt his shoulder. But he's married to some famous actress, whom I also got to meet.

I met Keri Russell in a club in DC (the Black Cat). It wasn't too long after Felicity was cancelled. I didn't realize who she was, and I told her she had really pretty hair.

Yes, I told an actress who is famous for her curly hair, that she had pretty hair.

I met Ben Folds when he was doing interviews at the hotel I worked for...he was kinda pretentious.

For policitians, I've met Bill Clinton and Al Gore (I was president of my college's Young Democrats chapter and went to a lot of events). Al Gore stepped on my foot. I had friends working for John Edwards when he first ran for Senate, so I've met him several times. He chatted me up while wearing skimpy jogging shorts, which was trippy. (I didn't know if it was polite to ask him to put on pants.)

I briefly met Colin Powell because a friend was his assistant at America's Promise. I've also met a fair number of Congressmen and governors because I used to work as a pollster.

Yes, DC is Hollywood for nerds, why do you ask?

Shannon, at my last job I got to meet a bunch of political people. I'm totally that nerd too. I actually got to meet Congressman Adam Schiff and had one of the most intelligent conversations about politics ever. It was really exciting.

My only cool celebrity meeting was with the Dancing with the stars live show. My ballroom team got invited to come watch the dress rehearsal, and they had some guest dancers something or another that weren't going to be there so they asked out directors to pick 2 couples to fill in so they could practice the flow of the show, etc.

I got a call about 2 hours before the show from my director saying, "Are you coming tonight? can you bring your shoes?"

So i got to go backstage, watch from right off the floor, and be on stage with everyone. It was pretty cool. I met Derek Hough (my favorite dancer) along with some of the celebrities from the show like that backstreet boy, and Wane Newton. i still have the little program guide thing they gave me that showed the order of the show and when we went on.
