Also, please check for opaque-ness. You may think your leggings arent see-through, but they are!!!

There can be a big difference between leggings and yoga pants. Some leggings are closer to tights and can get sheer around parts where they have to stretch, like your booty. Of course, if you wear lululemon yoga pants then they're no different!

I am a grad student, and every fall I want to teach a class to the undergrads on Leggings 101. Cover the butt!

Samantha- the difference should be huge. Leggings are very tight and usually show cameltoe and are sheer in places like the booty. I really don't want to see any underwear through those there pants. No sir. Yoga pants are generally thicker- and really more of a tight fitting sweat pant with a little more stretch.
