We went to our local festival last night to watch the parade and indulge in all things fried and Oh. My. Goodness. We went to our local festival last night to watch the parade and indulge in all things fried and Oh. My. Goodness. Newborns every where! *heart eyes* every twenty seconds I caught myself saying "babe, newborns, my ovaries!" Lol! We have an 18 month old who's getting way too independent and that may be pushing my fever even farther but lordy I need me a squishy little babe like now

Anyone else's baby fever through the roof?

Anyone considering ttc after the wedding?

When I get baby fever I just offer to watch FSIL's kids and my baby fever instantly disappears! Haha!

We plan on starting to actively try for a baby 6 months after we get married. We have 2 years at least to wait.

I'm with txncdelphia b. I don't think newborns are cute. I'm anti baby. Of course toddlers are fucking adorable. You have a one year old. Why rush for another one? It's hardly a grownup.

    Nope! I told my FH I won't consider kids before 30. (I'm 24)

My FH gets baby fever on and off so sometimes I have to calm down his imaginary ovaries lol

Nope nope nope. Staying off the baby train for at least 5 more years. My good friends (well only the wife) wants one and she keeps making jokes for my husband and I to have one too. I just want to tell her "honey I'm 4 years younger than you... I can't even commit to making dinner for my husband some nights and I have already meal prepped our food. If I can't pull out chicken and sweet potatoes to heat up there is no way I want a baby"

Honestly yes, I've had the worst baby fever for about 2 months now and it isn't showing any signs of going away. Now is not a good time for us to have a baby but my ovaries are trying to tell me otherwise lol

I had baby fever a few months ago. Thankfully that ended quickly, I still have a lot of things I want to accomplish before having kids. I have nightmares about being that stereotypical housewife who sacrificed everything for her husband and kids. No way will I be that woman.

I truly feel that it is biological. Something snapped within me a couple years ago, but I have a seven year old. Enjoy your time with your current baby and just breathe through the fever.

I've had baby fever for about a year now and there are no signs of it going away! We already have one child who is 12 years old and I never envisioned we would want another child so many years apart! My Mom keeps telling me it's because I'm nearing the age where it will become more difficult for me to conceive so it's a biological thing (thanks Mom). We are going TTC a few months after the wedding.

Yes! I want one here and now. FH keeps talking me down and reminding me that we have a very slim chance but I still want one

@newmoakua - I'm the same way. FH and I are both 24. I already told my in laws and my parents. I will not have a child before 30. Do not ask for grandchildren. Do not comment about grandchildren. I have an IUD in.. an early baby ain't gonna happen.

I wouldn't say that I have baby fever but I'm definitely ready for one. I'm 32 so the clock is ticking. I want to be done by 35 or 36.
