NWR: insane baby fever!

FH and I have a almost 2 year old and I DONT have baby fever lol FH does but our little guy keeps me plenty busy for now but obviously I wouldn't change anything. He is our world : )

I love hanging with my friend's children and babysitting but I also like being able to give them back. I refuse to contempt TTC until our one year wedding anniversary at minimum. We want to enjoy being newlyweds for a bit and not rush things (and get our finances back in order post wedding).

@Mj I have a kitten I'm trying to get rid of, she's a hellion

I am obsessed with my cat, she is my baby. I also have 3 nephews and 2 baby nieces. Being an aunt more than suffices any "baby fever" for me.

@cassidy we both want kids close in age but I'm torn between baby now, get my fix/get it over with or enjoy my daughters toddler years and have them 5 or 6 years apart. I was 100% anti baby till whoops pregnant. Ever since I had my own, absolutely in love

We both have kids and are now one big happy family! We look forward to everyone else's babies! Lol this of course is all results of having 4 teenagers. And of course our sweet 10 year old.

Nope, nope, nope, NOPE! There is literally nothing appealing to me about babies. They have nothing to contribute. They aren't cute. They aren't fun. I don't understand how people can claim they smell nice when they actually smell like either sour milk or liquid shits depending on whether they are in eating or excreting mode. (Spoiler alert: it's often both.) They cost a boatload of money and take time away from your relationship with your partner, gut your social life, and hinder your professional development.

By the time they hit about age 3 then they are adorable. You can have actual conversations with them and they seem like little people rather than screaming, pooping slugs. But they are still expensive and take away from relationships and careers, so that leaves us firmly in the NO camp.

Wait until your 18 month old is 3 years old. My son shits in the closet like twice a day.

My ovaries have been screaming at me for babies since I was 15. And really, I had baby fever at 5! I'm ridiculous. Crying about wanting to be a mommy when I wasn't even able to properly wash the shampoo out of my hair on my own.

Regardless, I totally get ya! My uterus jumps every.single.time I see a little one.... Too bad we're waiting until we're both done with school and get the hell out of our shitty apartment. My patience it thin though. I want a baby so bad it hurts.

Nope! Have a bunch of friends who are pregnant/have newborns, and while it is a super fun and exciting time....I do not want to be included in that. FH and I won't be trying for another few years. Going to get another puppy first and upgrade our house I'm also totally content with having two adorable nephews to snuggle in the meantime!

I did have it for awhile. I kept reminding myself that we are just not ready yet, for a variety of reasons. We got a kitten, and that really did make it go away!

The other day we were hanging out with a group of friends, several of which have kids. FH and I were fighting over who got to hold the baby haha. We'll be trying shortly after we get married

Not at the moment. We are waiting until our daughter is 4 before we even think about it. One cranky, teething, temper tantrum throwing baby is enough for me right now. I love her dearly, but she will have to wait for siblings.

Yessss omg!!! FH wants to wait until after we are married and I don't care as much. I'm ready! Lol but I can wait for the wedding night.

Nah, I don't have it yet. Occasionally I see a small child and I'm like, oh they're cute, but I don't want any of my own for a little while.

That's a big fat nope from me. FH and I want babies/toddlers/kids/teenagers never. We're getting a cat though and eventually (hopefully) a dog.

Maybe fur baby fever lol.

I'm not in a hurry, but I think my FH is. I keep thinking I should catch baby fever any time now, but it hasn't happened. Part of me wants to be there, but no need to rush.

I keep trying to get baby fever but i cant. send some this way in about a year, please!
