NWR: Nervous Nelly, NCLEX

Oh my goodness, I've never been so nervous in my entire life. I took the NCLEX today, 75 questions in 45 minutes. The computer shut off and I about begged it for more. Keep your fingers crossed I passed. I know we have quite a few nurses on here, so I thought this would be a good place to share....

Also wanna share pics of your adorable animals to keep my mind occupied till tomorrow?

Good luck! I took my NCLEX a few years ago and it shut off at 75 questions and I was so nervous! But I passed! I am sure you did too! At least you wont have to wait to long cause you can get your "unofficial" results in like 48 hours

I passed the NCLEX in about 105! I almost threw up when it went to question 76 because I really wanted to pass in 75 hahaha. I'm in PA and yep, on the state licensing website it showed up the next day. Didn't get my official results for like 2-3 days though. My guess is you passed, so congratulations! Throwback pic of FH holding our puppy who is now 75 lbs.

I think you probably passed! I had 75 q. in 45 minutes and passed! I did the "trick" and also paid for the quick results!

Fingers crossed for you OP! Wishing the best for you, but also remember that if you did fail, it's not the end of the world. I failed my biology praxis the first time I took it (I know it's way easier than the NCLEX but it's still an important test lol) by only two points. It was a sucky feeling, but it motivated to work even harder and I passed it the next time with flying colors.

If it helps, I have a couple of nurse friends who said the passing rate was higher for the 75 question test than the longer one (I can't remember how many questions that one was). Best wishes to you!

I took it 4 years ago and passed with 75 questions in 45 minutes. The Pearson vue trick still worked back then, I think they changed it now so it's not accurate anymore.

SO I did the Pearson Vue and it wouldn't let me register which should mean.... I passed?!?. Guys this is like the longest wait in the world lol and all your animals are really making it a lot easier. I did have quite a few sata and priority questions. It just stinks because you're so unsure! When the screen shut off I almost cried. Don't you worry, I'll be back tomorrow to let y'all know if I made it. I'm already working as a GN on a peds floor in PA so I'll be up nice and early!

75 questions is a good sign! That's what I stopped at.

Goodness I definitely don't miss that feeling! I'm sure you passed. However if you didn't it will only make you a better nurse. I didn't pass my nclex for practical nursing the first time and I took the whole test. I passed the nclex rn with 75 questions and did the Kaplan prep. The Pearson vue trick doesn't work anymore. I wouldn't try as some people paid the money and ended up passing. If your state participates in it you can pay for the quick results I think 48hrs later. Or maybe your license will pop up the following day. Just try to keep your mind busy until you can find out. Good luck!!

Passed with 75 questions in 37 minutes. The Pearson vue trick worked for me, but that was three years ago now. For a lot of my friends their RN license became active on the state website before you could even pay to view your results - but for me mine didn't come up until about a week after I found out I did pass.
