Dansko clogs are the best! Not the most attractive but they have amazing support and are super comfortable

Maybe get fitted at a running shoe store? You probably won't be running in them, but there's stuff out there with lots of support. I bought a pair of all black Asics for work because they help fix the over-pronation in my feet.

I love nurse mates. They're so comfy. I also wear my old running shoes that are still comfortable. I would also suggest investing in some compression socks (either knee high or thigh high) ... Your veins will thank you later Smiley winking

I wear Nikes or Asics, I have flat feet so they're the most comfortable. I wore nurse mates while in school, and the pair I had fell apart pretty quickly. They were comfortable though.

My mom is a nurse and swears by her Dansko clogs. Although she's recently switched to Sanita clogs because they fit her narrow feet better.

If you are allowed to wear running shoes at work I agree with JPL. Brooks are the best that I have found, and you can find sales easily. I also love Saucony for comfort. Both seem to be well cushioned inside and supportive.

I have bunion issues too, I LOVE Asics, I am on my 3rd or 4th pair! (Lost count!) They come in wide which is great. Plus I have custom orthotics so that is a huge help too. Good luck finding a comfy pair! :-)

I love to wear my Airwalks when I was on my feet all day. Paired with a gel insert and I was golden.

One of the ladies I work with has horrible bunions and she prefers sneakers over a hotbed type of nursing clog.

Danskos/Sanita. An ER doc told me about them years ago and as a 20+ year hairdresser that's all I wear at work.

Dansko clogs are popular in the healthcare world, but they can actually cause more problems because they have no cushioning whatsoever. If you can do walking or running shoes, I would go that route. Otherwise, look at some of the "athletic lifestyle" brands. I have clogs from Merrell and Jambu that are super comfortable (not at all sexy though).

My wife is an NP (12hr shifts in ER) and has I believe over 2000 pairs of Dansko's. lol

Their may be some sarcasm there, although she makes fun of my 20 pair of the "same" black work shoes.

I'm a teacher, so although I'm not quite on my feet 12 hours a day, I'm on them for a lot. I have my Tieks flats, which don't make my feet feel tired by the end of the day, although sketchers has some of the most comfortable flats. It's like walking on pillows.

I have no suggestions...just on here because of the same reason. I'm an emotional support teacher with plantar fasciitis. I HATE wearing sneakers with dress clothes, so I need something that will look semi-professional, be good to my feet and have some tread if I have to restrain a student.

Dansko's hands down all the way to the bank. Check out 6pm.com they have awesome deals! When I was doing 12's I got mine for about $15 and they lasted me a good year!

Another vote for danskos closed back clogs. My sister who is a casino dealer and works long shifts on her feet, even while she was pregnant, swears by them.
