In the semi short time I've been here I feel as if we've had a lot of new faces. So just for fun, tell me something interesting/unique about you. I have a slight obsession with Lady Gaga. Slight as in I used to camp on the streets to get front row at her shows and have seen her live at least 25x. FH...

I have a slight obsession with Lady Gaga. Slight as in I used to camp on the streets to get front row at her shows and have seen her live at least 25x. FH thinks it's the weirdest thing ever. I honestly still love her, but think I'm getting too old to sleep on the streets for a concert haha.

I cannot stand the sound, texture or anything chalk related. I get goosebumps and almost involuntarily start squirming around. Erasers that are used all the way down to being flush with the metal end of the pencil make one of the most horrendous noises on earth. I literally flip shit.

Mrs in May, that's hemophilia, right? My husband has that. When he gets cut, he doesn't stop bleeding, sometimes for days. Not fun.

Sunshinejenn - very similar but not the same.

VWD and hemophilia are different types of bleeding disorders. VWD is caused by a problem with von Willebrand factor, whereas hemophilia is caused by a problem with another type of clotting factor (factor VIII in hemophilia A; factor IX in hemophilia B). Though both disorders are usually inherited, the inheritance pattern (the way the genes are passed down from parent to child) is different. Symptoms of VWD are usually milder than symptoms of hemophilia, but serious bleeding episodes can occur in either condition.

If you asked me what my favorite movie was I would say "Beetlejuice". I'm not sure why. I also have a slight obsession with Kevin Costner. <----DREAMY!!!

May, thanks for the clarification! You learn something new every day.

Interesting things about me: I'm fluent in Sarcasm; I am a decent artist; I'm writing a book (or trying to anyway); and I own and run a review blog (books, author promos, etc). Which also means I know a lot of published authors.

I can completely relate to having a large family. My parents were both married before they married each other. Between my parents I have a total of 11 siblings (8 sisters, 3 brothers). I am of course the youngest. I have 28 nieces and nephews. One of which is older than I am. There are 20 years and 4 months to the day between me and my oldest sister. I couldn't even begin to count cousins if I wanted to. My dad is one of 12 as well and my mom is one of six. However, my dad does not have contact with all of his siblings and hasn't for years. There are a few that up and moved away and never stayed in touch with any of the others.

I have 90 first cousins (my mother has 15 brothers and sisters and my dad has 12- I'm an only child haha!)

I HATE the feel of micro-fiber cloths

I have broken my femur, nose, left arm, 3 fingers and 2 toes.

    I fix blackhawks.

You couldn't tell by looking at me, but I'm also a huge nerd. Not the 'oh teehee let me wear fake glasses and only play COD' but the I raid 3 nights a week on WoW, am obsessed with Dragon Age, and all-time favorite game is Spyro, nerd.

I secretly enjoy the shocked looks when I tell them I fix helicopters. I am a bit prideful.

@kassy yes it does. I don't really do the whole leg in one sitting lol it's like if I shave in the shower and I miss spots I will pluck them. Or if I see my hairs growing in i tweeze them. I know it's weird.

@Amber & @MrsPope. I used to use an epilator which pulls the hair out from the root and lasts longer than shaving so I got used to the pain. Only certain areas hurt.
