What's your passion? Outside of your DH/DW/FH/FW (obviously we're passionate about them!), what really turns you on? What makes you tick? What do you love to do? Invest time, money, etc into? Are you a dancer? Love helping rescue animals? Underprivileged kids?

I'll start: My PASSION is Arab Dance. I've studied for almost 14 years. I've taken classes from some of the most amazing teachers in the world. There's just something about classical Egyptian style "cabaret" dance, and folkloric dance that makes my heart beat faster.

Here's a couple pictures.

what are YOU passionate about?

Is it weird i'm passionate about my job? I absolutely love my job (most days, last night was awful and I hope I never have to experience that again). I'm an X-ray tech. Everyday is different and it is terrible to say but I love a good broken bone, I do feel bad for the person and the pain they are in. It helps my coworkers are awesome.

    Oh and I like cats.

Running-- I'm slow, so I hesitate to say I'm 'passionate' about it, but, heck-- I run four times a week, at least one marathon a year, and last year I went to Italy to do the Rome marathon, and next year I'm doing Victoria Falls (in Africa) with an eye to doing a marathon on every continent, eventually. So, I guess that counts. Also, gun control. I call and email my congresswoman and senators every single day.

Traveling, hiking, food, beer, and animals. If they all occur on one trip, even better.

I LOVE this thread @Yas! I'm passionate about music, volunteering, and leadership/career development. I'm a classically trained flutist and singer, although most of my love of music is actually around great songwriting and less about classical music. I spend the majority of my free time volunteering with a group that supports underserved children and families. I also love working with young adults to help them figure out their career path, and providing leadership development training.

    Love Arab dance! Very cool.

We love to lift weights, it's our hobby, our hangout place, as well as how we met.

I love to dance, esp. pole. No secret that I've had more than 3 years of progressive training. I had to take a break from the training due to saving for the wedding, but I hope my finances allow me to go back soon. I'm ready to take it to another level and start teaching. I's incredibly spiritual and I love to help people in their Christian walk. After paying off my law school loans, car, and house I plan to study Christian counseling and eventually work for one of my family's congregations (2 of my uncles are pastors, 3 of my aunts are in ministry, and my godfather is a pastor). It seems like a lot financially to try to pay all this off before starting another career. But this career (law) is about the money I want my next career to be truly about helping people. So I know I can't put my all into that until I don't have so much debt looming. Also I'd like to have kids in the next few years.

This is a great thread! Some of you guys are just so...cool.

I am passionate about reading, writing (though I've been off for a while, trying to get back on) and cooking. I love cooking more than I ever thought I would, and I've become really good at it. Also passionate about wine and beer, and understanding the chemical processes behind those delicious things.

ETA: Live music is my favorite thing. A concert is absolutely my favorite place to be.

Old school house music and freestyle (example: Stevie B, TKA, Cover Girls). I have over 100 mix cds by DJs and will hunt down songs on iTunes and Amazon.

Latin. Like, I really really love Latin.

Really, just any language that's branched from it as well, but I'm really into linguistics and the study of latin. I do a lot with that on the reg.

Also, cooking because YUM and board games because... I mean, can I sound ANY lamer?

Oh I love seeing all this! So many different passions and it's awesome Smiley smile

My passion is for Art. I love creating all kinds of art, but I mostly paint and do mixed media and I love to refinish furniture. I have no pictures because I'm on my work computer.

I also love being outdoors, hiking, fishing, climbing, but I really love to kayak! I usually go every weekend in the summer except for this year, but I will be going this weekend.

Country Swing Dancing is another fun hobby of mine. I wouldn't say it's a passion, but it's definitely up there!

I'm passionate about travel. I like historic site, nature, and art/architecture, so I usually try to mix it up a little on trips but all I want out of life is to make enough money to go see new places. I also really like to garden and my flowers are my babies since I don't have fur babies.

@BB your wreaths are beautiful! @Laine I also love naps! I'm a champion napper, but I have a sleep disorder too. @ everyone crafty, I'm so impressed by you all!

I really loved my last job working with foster youth. I switched jobs after being engaged because it was too stressful. I still work with at risk kids but would love to start volunteering specifically with foster youth after the wedding!
