That's how I feel about Arab Dance.

I actually just found this (totally pirated it until I can afford to buy a print) and it shows the elation I feel when I dance...I had to share.

The outdoors (hunting, fishing, hiking, exploring, swimming, kayaking or anything lake related) Learning! I am SO addicted to documentaries and non-fiction books and memoirs. There is just something about getting a feel for someone else's life experience that just fascinates me. Gifting. I love finding and giving the perfect gift! I've been known to buy or make gifts months ahead of time and spend stupid amounts of time on the presentation.

I'm passionate about music and creating things (e.g. drawing, coloring, crafting).

Dogs. It sounds so silly. They make me so happy. I'm literally obsessed. The humane society near me actually has too many volunteers so I don't get to do that. I would foster but I would seriously keep them all. And FH would kill me. I'm the type of person where if we're in the car and FH is talking I will interrupt to point out a dog. He won't let me get more than one right now. But yea. Dogs. All the dogs.

Yasmina - I always love the pictures I see on FB of you dancing. You do look so full of life and bliss it's such a great feeling when you have something that you have that much passion for. ETA: you are so beautiful btw

Melisssa, it doesn't sound silly at all! I love dogs too. I'm that person who goes to a party and plays with the dogs instead of talking to people.

Anything related to the supernatural! Halloween, ghosts/spirits, horror films, unexplained mysteries! I love music too. My dad plays the accordion and I am learning how to play a little, and my grandma played piano, my cousin is a singer and musician. I love almost all kinds of music and it's fun to learn how to play it. Is it too late to try and start a band???

So my passion is colorguard. I performed for 10 years, and now I teach. I love both aspects- but with teaching I get to be a guiding presence in teen-age girls lives and promote self confidence, body positivity, and challenging theirselves with hard work. There is something so special to me about that, it will be really hard if I have to give it up. [Pic from rehearsal today!]

Criminal justice reform and my bichon frise

My biggest passion is history (both world and personal). I choose a specific time or family (like the Romanov family in Russia or the Tudors) and read books about them. I am also passionate about my family history and have found so much information online!

It may seem weird but I am also passionate about Disney. I am a details person and there is so much attention to the finer details with Disney. I trained to be a Disney certified Disney planner but don't do it for work. That being said, I have helped many family and friends plan Disney vacation (I am currently planning a honeymoon "redo" for DH and I to Disney World for January 2017) and am always happy talking Disney.

Finally, I am passionate about cooking for my friends and family. I love finding and/or creating new food for people. To me, you show your love/caring/friendship easily through food. I like thinking about things that work together to create new foods or improving something I saw online (for example, I saw a "recipe" about "stuffing" strawberries with sweetened cream cheese. Instead I use the pre-made cheesecake filling (Philadelphia cream cheese makes it, you can find it where the cream cheese is). I hollow out the middle of the strawberry, add the cheesecake filling and then dip the top in graham cracker crust. Its always popular at get togethers when I make them.

Of course animals! As I have a rescue fur babe. Old people- I do occupational therapy for a living so I have a huge soft spot. Cooking! I put my heart and soul into it because it ticks my tocker.

I'm obsessed with animals, studying the relationship between poverty and educational achievement, and history; particularly revolutions. I can go on and on about the American Revolution and the French Revolution.

Fish...sharks in particular. My degree is in marine biology. Something about the oceans makes my heart race and my eyes twinkle. I wish I could have made money Pursuing a career in it. Oh and reading. I love getting lost in a good book.

FH and I looove to go shooting. Targets. We both own quite a few handguns. My favorites are my Smith and Wesson 9mm and my Kimber Sapphire

Outside of work and family I am passionate about the Red Sox, wine, and cooking.

I am also extremely passionate about human rights and international affairs. I have been extremely blessed to find employment that allows me to help use our nation's resources for the empowerment of developing democracies and cultivating international partnerships. Like Crescent 1894 I am a serious nerd.

Rescue pets, especially my 2 pit mixes. Wine. Kids with special needs (it's my field). Happy hour with friends. The beach.

I am passionate about reading, my children (a given), and mentoring others whether family, friends, or complete strangers.
