nyc Bachelorette

Concetta, on December 5, 2019 at 3:14 PM Posted in New York Planning 0 2

Hi everyone! my matron of honor just told me that she can no longer plan my bachelorette party because she is very busy at work and will most likely not even be able to make it. My bachelorette was supposed to be in Atlantic City January 17-19 however she has not booked anything... a few of the maids have been texting me asking whats going on because we discussed over the summer some ideas but nothing ever got booked. I was wondering maybe instead of Atlantic City of just staying in manhattan or something... I was wondering if anyone knows of affordable bars in the city or maybe Brooklyn? I know it is going to be cold I was thinking of maybe din and a nice night on the town... I don't know lol

My party wanted to take me to the Ren Faire for a whole weekend, until I made it clear I didn't have the time off from work. Instead, we went to Medieval Times out in Lyndhurst - there's a bus directly there, if you need one! Granted, that's a specific feeling, but we had a great time.

What kind of vibe do you want? There's just so much to choose from... We're theatre people, so we have a tendency to hang out on the west side, in the weirder/cheaper places, but they can be a lot of fun.

You can always get show tickets!

Vandal is very fun for dinner and it has a loungey kind of vibe. It also has a lounge/club downstairs. We did a birthday dinner and they have us free shots and desserts and it came out to $75 each including paying for the birthday girl and tip.

It’s WAY out of the way from the standard NYC places (just because the neighborhood is very residential), but the UES speakeasy is also so much fun. Its behind an ice cream shop so a lot of the cocktails are ice cream inspired and you can get a boozy milkshake for $20. Also cute for a girls outing.
