Hi everyone! We are getting married on NYE 2021! I am wondering if there are any other couples getting married on this day too? Just looking to connect and see others thoughts and ideas?! I am hoping COVID will be gone but totally know it is a possibility it wont be.

Also, for timeline we decided to have pictures around 330-4ish and then have our cocktail hour first from 6-7pm 715-730 ceremony and dinner for 8-9 and dancing and all to follow. I’ll just have to sit cocktail hour out but with having a late dinner and early picture we felt this would be a better layout.

Congratulations! I’m getting married on NYE too! Question- does anyone have timeline suggestions? I want to do fireworks or a balloon drop at midnight and I feel like the party might just be getting started but I also don’t want people to feel like they have to stay tooo late (although some will probably want to). We are in a remote area, so not many options for an after party. Here’s what I’m thinking about-
    7:30 ceremony
8:15-9:00 cocktail hour (will be serving heavy apps as food)9:00 wedding party entrance/ first dances/ cake12:00 am balloon drop or fireworks1:30 am last call2:00 grand exit
What are you guys doing?? Appreciate any input!

I saw on Pinterest where some couples did biodegradable confetti poppers at midnight or for their exit and thought that was cute!

I am! We're getting married in MA. Colors are wine, navy, and accented with yellow. (Had to have my sunflowers in there as well)

I totally would love to hear timeline agendas from others. We want our reception to go until around 12:30 so everyone can be together for the ball drop...however, that would mean an "evening time" ceremony/dinner.

Hi ladies! So with recent news just wanted to touch base and see how all you brides are feeling with this new delta variant ? Also, any tips or ideas for seating charts?! We really like the idea of a clock seating chart just having a hard time deciding if we should make it ourselves or have a digitally made and printed… oh and shawls anyone find any cute / heavy shawls?!

    Hi!
I was thinking about shawls for my girls but then I read that most of them won’t even use them? So now I’m torn! Lol I did find cute ones on Etsy!

I found black fur ones on Amazon for my bridesmaids- at least for them to have for pictures which will most likely be outside. I was wondering more for myself. I can’t seem to find any I like. The fur seems too much for me and I’m worried about the color not being the right ivory🙈

Oh cool! I didn’t even think to check Amazon! My girls are wearing navy so I’m thinking they would need ivory / white fur shawl or a champagne or navy pashmina ? I still am up in the air about what to do! Lol I did get them each a shirt to wear during the day for getting ready pics. Our photographer said you probably wouldn’t wear the shawl for every picture. So many decisions lol

My husband and I are doing our wedding after we eloped during Covid in NYE. We eloped NYE last year!!!!! We are going true New Years aesthetic. Black, navy blue, gold, silver and lots of sparkles.
How are you feeling with Covid spiking again?! I’m so scared/nervous.
