I had to have another dress made when I went in from my fitting last week due to losing too much weight (which the soon to be hubby didn't want in the first place lol). Hi Brides!

Our wedding date is Oct 19! 22 days away I am so ready, I think everything we never thought would happen has been thrown at us while planning this wedding.

( we have been planning since last August.)

We bought a house in winter and moved during a snow storm!

We found out we are starting our new marriage as parents as we had a surprise pregnancy ( found out in July.) Now that the shock has worn off, we are totally embracing what God has given us and so excited our little baby will be joining us for our big day ( kind of I'll be 20 weeks)

We had to change honeymoon destinations ( due to threat of zika.)

We also had a bad experience with our tent vender who gave our tent away to someone paying more (even though we already paid.) We found this out a month before our big day. Luckily we found a better tent for a better deal and they threw in chandeliers!

Through this journey, God and my amazing Hubby to be have been my rock, I feel incredibly blessed and it just goes to show I picked the best partner.

I really hope all the October brides have the day of their dreams and just remember no matter what goes awry, you are marring your best friend!

We're getting married on the 12th so two weeks left. I'm both excited and nervous about getting everything done in time. The last month is seeming to go by a lot faster.

Mine is Oct. 19th. I’m very excited, we moved our wedding up by a year because my mom is not well. We planned everything in 5 months. It’s been very stressful, but I can’t wait for our big day to celebrate with friends and family.

I’m October 11th and I’m honestly so excited to see the out of towners. I can’t wait to be married either but we’ve lived together for a long time so I’m not sure how different it will feel. I feel like I need one more week. Just for my DIYs.

Getting married oct 19th! Cant believe it is a little over 2 weeks left till we say I do!!!

What an amazing thread... congrats everybody!! Our wedding is this Sunday 10/6 and I can’t wait!!! My fiancé’s mom comes in tomorrow, we will finish packing for the honeymoon, a few beauty appointments then it will be Friday and time to pick up our dresses! My FW and I have had moments of stress (last week was rough... pms + wedding stress = scary bridezillas for us both!) I’m thrilled to marry the love of my life in just a few days... a celebration of love, of life, of second chances, and of course God. I couldn’t be happier and truly feel joy coming out of every fiber of my being. What a beautiful gift!!! Congratulations everyone!! 💗

Oct 11th. We leave for Arizona on the 9th and get our marriage license on the 10th, then make the drive to Sedona. We are very excited for our day. Can't wait to be joined by 40 or our close friends and family to celebrate!

We have the same wedding date Dina! We lived together for a year and half as well. The one nice thing is we can refer to each other as husband/wife when we do. In the end, I think living together was a good choice, we learned to manage our rough times (his job loss), and the great times. Knowing your relationship can withstand the pressures of everyday life makes it that much easier to say I do and it be about forever.

Congrats! Same here with the planning stuff. A destination wedding with a total of 45 people. I have very little help. I hired a part time wedding planner, to take some of the load off, so my budget ended up being a little higher than I wanted. Enjoy Jamaica!

Congrats! Same here with paying for the wedding ourselves. Even a small 45 person wedding is costly. The only place you save is on the food. Have a great day!

I say the exact same thing to everyone that asks if I'm ready.... I'm ready to get it over with!

I know the day will be amazing no matter what, but this wedding planning **** is for the birds. Nothing, & I mean NOTHING has happened or turned out the way I imagined it would...from dress shopping to decorations...it's all been a nightmare & if given the choice to do it all over again....I probably would.

Even though nothing has gone as planned, I know it'll still be amazing.

View Quoted Comment I completely get it. This last week has been throwing me and my FH all kinds of stuff to mess with our plans. We even had a groomsman back out with only two weeks to go! Still everything happens for a reason and I hope your big day is wonderful even if it's not to plan.

View Quoted Comment When I tell you I’ve been ready for it to be done! Whew Chile!! The amount of small items I have purchased in the last week has blown my mind! I’m just ready to be married!! All the moving parts at the end of this process has me a little stressed. My soon to be husband does keep me level headed and he keeps me laughing! I care way more about details then he does so he doesn’t really understand. Lol. I’m ready to be Mrs. Williams on October 26th!
