We are October 11, 2020! Our colors are white, dusty rose/blush, plum, and burgundy. We are personalizing our day with unique music for the ceremony processional, recessional and first dance. We plan to have a photo booth, and awesome lighting (including dance floor lights!) for a kick a** dance party!

    October 20th for me!

Don't have any color per se, perhaps because we are doing an elopement style wedding (not leaving country). But want a setup like this. Would that mean white is my color?

We are only having 4 members of the family at the ceremony, but plan to have a sunset cruise reception with the rest of the immediate family. It's such a small wedding, not much to plan/do which blows a bit but still excited.

Hello other October 2020 brides! I admit I held off a bit too long probably on dress shopping and now I'm worried about ordering in time. Is there anyone else who still hasn't fully decided on a dress yet? Should I be looking to order off the rack at this point?

    Just joined the October club.
Colors black and silver. Bridesmaids have jewel tone dresses.

We chose our date because we are a #CoronaCouple who had to postpone. This was the best date we could find. Ready for our Halloween wedding!

We're getting married October 2nd and we recent just celebrated our 7 year anniversary! Our date is actually significant to us because my parents got married October 1st and my fiancé's mom and stepdad got married October 3rd. 🥰
Our colors are navy and rose gold.
There are still so many little details that I haven't gotten to yet, but luckily there's still time.

Hi Bri! My dad also passed away when I was young. I ended up asking his best friend, who is also a very close family friend, to walk me down the aisle. I also got a necklace from Ashes into Glass with my dad's ashes made to wear, so my dad will be with me as well. ❤️

We're getting married October 3rd 2020 which will be our 6 year Anniversary.

Our colors are Navy, Green and Ivory. I'll be wearing a vintage champagne dress. Our "theme" is a Celestial Naturalist Old Hollywood inspired theme by the Paper Moon Photo Props from the 1920s and 1930s. We love the outdoors and we love the night sky and watching the stars so we'll have lots of those elements with ferns, moss, greenery & celestial elements.

October 24 here. Our color scheme will be dark teal, gray, plum, golden yellow, burnt orange. Using lots of daisies and baby's breath. Enchanted fairy garden / Knight and fair lady inspiration. Not a themed wedding, just old timey essence. One key detail/decoration I'm DIYing is a "gypsy fringe/prayer flag garland/curtain" . Here's an inspiration photo.

We are getting married October 3rd at an Airbnb which has a sweet Swedish inspired bungalow on a river nestled by some trees. It will be a rather intimate celebration and our reception will be held at a nearby cafe & bakery.

Our colors are navy & green. We’re going to a celestial feel mixed with nature (moss, ferns, lots of greenery) to feel like you’re outdoors under the night sky.

Hello! We’re getting married 10/24/2020 in Nags Head, NC. Our colors are Moss green & cream with accents of silver & grey. Our golden hour ceremony will be held on the beach of a private beachfront home. After the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour around the pool & reception under a big old tent in the back yard. We can’t wait to celebrate with our closest family & friends. My fiancé are both type 1 diabetic so in lieu of favors, we will be donating to the JDRF.

Hi October brides! I was just wondering if any of you are considering pushing back your dates because of COVID-19 even though your wedding is still 5 months away. I have been told that we should expect another surge of the coronavirus in the fall and have already been asked if I am going to push my wedding back. Have any of you ladies heard about this, or should I not even worry about it right now?

Ashley I legit just got on this site to see what brides were doing.

I am getting married in a Catholic church on 10/24/20 and I thought maybe we can just do that and a big party later. But my fiancee isn't too keen on doing that, he wants to be "efficient" and have them both on the same day. He says we should postpone to 2021 but I really don't want to... idk I feel like we still have until July to really make any final decisions but like: 1) do we want to have pictures of everyone wearing masks...? do we still want people to dance and have a good time without the fear of getting sick around others? we also don't know if the govt is going to continue to have limitations on the number of people that can get together. Our wedding is 150 - if they limit it to 100 do we fully postpone or "dis-invite" friends and family?

    GAH.
