Where are my October 2020 couples?! What’s your date? What colors did you choose? How are you personalizing your day? Share your details!

We are October 11, 2020! Our colors are white, dusty rose/blush, plum, and burgundy. We are personalizing our day with unique music for the ceremony processional, recessional and first dance. We plan to have a photo booth, and awesome lighting (including dance floor lights!) for a kick a** dance party!

I’m so sorry you’re having to consider postponing because of COVID-19 as well because of the amount of guests you are inviting. My fiancé and I have pretty much agreed that if the most important vendors are still willing to do our ceremony (venue, officiant, photographer) then we will still do that at least and then maybe have the big reception later if we can get the money back from our caterer and cake baker. We would obviously respect those guests we’ve invited if they do not want to risk coming, but we’ve also invited only 50 people. I think we will also just wait until July to make final decisions. I’ve just been told that as of May 8th the governor of NC (where we live) is going to be loosening the reigns on non essential businesses opening back up and the amount of people that can be in a space together so hopefully things will start getting better from here!

I am 10/31/20 and I am not considering post-phoning just yet. Look at how much has changed in the past few weeks. I think it also depends on were you live as well. Some states have higher cases and will take longer to open up. As far as a fall surge with all the testing that will be in place it hopefully will be manageable, we know a lot more now then we did before. The message was flu and covid combined could make things bad in hopes that more people would be open to the flu shot. Viruses can't live forever. I am hopeful but nervous as well. Hoping and praying for the best for all of us

I agree that it also depends on different states. I know that some have already started opening back up, some will in the second weeks of May, and some are not expected to u til July. I just hope that we don’t have to postpone. That is our last option. We just don’t want to lose money, but we haven’t started contacting vendors yet, which we won’t until about July.
