I’m supposed to pay 75% of my venue by July 23rd so I think I’ll wait until then to decide if I want to postpone or not. I’m ahead of planning I have my bridesmaids dresses I have my dress ect. All I need is flowers and the guys suits. Our wedding is in Pennsylvania and where we’re at it’s pretty bad.. so I’m just trying to stay hopeful

We're booked for 10/24 in Los Angeles and for now are planning on waiting and seeing. But I stress about it often, it's hard for me to feel good about planning wedding stuff right now. I want all my guests to be safe and it's so important to have our grandparents with us.

Montgomery Co here. We feel okay to travel for our semi DW. Our guests from Montco and Bucks have been very supportive of October. For our original date of May, they didn't feel safe, but its a go for fall! Now my coworkers at our nursing facility who plan to have 200+ guests for their weddings in Montco and Philly area, they've all postponed for next year. I also have friends in Lehigh Valley getting married in Sept and they're still good to go!

October 17, 2020 PA bride here and we were rolling full steam ahead, truly believing this would all be over by then...until yesterday. We got the call informing us that our venue (local park in Butler County) made the decision to not open the park for the remainder of the year Smiley cry

We have committed to not changing our date but now i am worried that if we plan for an outdoor ceremony/reception that rental places will not be open. Or if we will go into another stay at home order in the fall due to the virus recirculating in the fall.

It’s honestly heart breaking. Im surprised a park would close for the rest of the year since most are starting to finally open up. I read the forms all the time and people are so up lifting and make me feel positive about keeping my date. My worry is my fiancé family isn’t so positive they already said they aren’t risking their health weather the Coronavirus is over by then or not they said it’s too soon.

It seems that the state parks are opening just not the local ones. I know almost out entire guest list would show up if they were invited but i just worry what the future mandates hold. Groups of 25? After a photographer, an officiant, me and the hubby we are already down to 21. Just seems sort of impossible.

10/31/20. Marrying for sure on this date. Reception depends on our Gov. who is enjoying his power. Slowing opening a lot of things, but still no direction on mass gatherings or wedding receptions. Still only a limit of 10. Weddings however have no limit?

I just heard that June 5th PA will be moving into the yellow zone which is 25 or less gatherings so hopefully by our wedding date it’ll be better Smiley smile

We are 10/3/20 in Northern California and currently waiting to see. Our venue has a capacity for up to 200 guests, so even if they are operating at 50% capacity we could still have around 100 guests. We have even talked about limiting our guest count to 50. Personally, I would rather have a smaller wedding and take necessary healthcare precautions (hand sanitizer stations, eating outdoors instead of indoors etc) than have to worry about rescheduling everything. If your dream wedding involves a really large guest count, I would consider postponing!
