I completely understand this. I'm feeling like that with my excitement - its very limited until I know that everything is taken care of and will go smoothly from my hands lol. We're just going to take it one day at a time & handle things accordingly, we got this!

Yikes... it’s getting real busy now. LOL! I’m now about 21 or 20 days out and tying up loose ends. Meeting DJ Sunday to go over stuff and will have to call florist to add a couple things and drop off the LED candles for the center pieces. Now to remember the batteries!

Sorry hit send... then there’s the church stuff. I hope I don’t forget something! And Bachelorette is this coming weekend.

Nineteen days for me! It was really cool to get the marriage license this week and think of it being legally official soon. I'm also to the stage where people are asking what kinds of tasks they can help with on the day of, so thinking about steaming garments, feeding the bridesmaids while getting ready together, packing for the night of, etc.! Also about to dispatch my mom to bug the folks who didn't RSVP by deadline

Ahhh so you're at the fun stage! It was really cool to get the marriage license for me too, I'm changing my name after 31 years - it feel so surreal! We also just started getting gifts so I'm like "this is it!" hahaha. I hope everything turns out smoothly and those 19 days fly by!

30 days away here as well! Overwhelmed right now. It’s hard to be excited as all the pieces are just not together yet. Can’t wait for it to be over! Lol

October 30th Halloween bride here. I’m struggling with gifts for the mother’s and fathers. I have everything done except for those things. Any recommendations?

Mine is 8 days away. It's quite nerve-wracking but also exciting. I didn't hire a planner and luckily "rustic" is in Lol. I'm hoping that I've considered everything that I need to make this a special day. Still need to tie the odds and ends.

View Quoted Comment Totally. At the beginning of the planning stages, my FH said "nobody remembers the details" and that's what I've kept in mind while planning. I remind myself not to worry about the nitty gritty details. This is my day and all that matters is that I'm getting married and celebrating with the ones I love.
