My wedding is scheduled for October 2021 in Bucks County PA. Up until a week ago I was pretty certain we were going to have the normal-ish wedding we had been planning. I was reading articles that weddings in fall/winter 2021 should be good to go due to the current vaccine being administered. Then I was reading other forums that so many brides are either postponing there fall 2021 wedding or having something much smaller. We have a guest list of about 150 people which could likely go down to 125 after rsvp's come in. I'm just wondering what everyone is doing with their fall 2021 wedding. Are you worried? Which month are you focusing in on to make a final decision. I'm ok with masks if that what it takes but not ok with having a guest limit. My venue pretty much has said that for now they can't give us any answers because it's still so early in the year, who knows what the next 9 months will bring. Please give your advice!

Im getting married 10/2/21 and I was pretty concerned as well. But its too soon to tell. As the time gets closer, the decision will be made. But all the vendors I have spoken with, are more than confident that a normal(ish) "emphasis on ish" wedding will be fine at that time due to vaccinations and rapid testing become more available here in NYC. But its too early to tell.

I totally feel your pain too 😭 there is a lot of uncertainty and contradicting information on what will be a safe wedding in October. I also live in PA, and am a bit worried that our state is so slow with the vaccine rollout, but also has very tight measures compared to other states. ☹️
My venue has an outside location for the reception, but I REALLY want it inside - it's why we booked it! So I totally feel for your concerns. Last fall, I recall the limits being about 20% of capacity for large, indoor events in PA, but I'm hopeful things will be a lot better for this coming October and capacity limits will be much bigger! You could try calculating the # of people you'd be allowed based on different potential capacity limits. This might help you see if we're at 75%, 50% or even 25% capacity, you can still have the inside reception with the people you really want and need there! I hope this helps, but if anything, I'm here for you to worry and vent to.. it's been a stressful time 💜
