Hello everyone! I just got engaged on Halloween and we've decided on an October of 2021 wedding. I'm partially concerned that COVID still might be in full force since it's still going strong now. We don't plan on switching the date because we don't want to wait any longer to be married, so we'll do it whether or not COVID is going on or not, but I'm just worried about people not coming.
What are your thoughts on what you think the COVID situation will look like by then? And is anyone else having an October wedding next year? What're your plans?

Thanks guys!

I am getting married 10/16/21 and don't plan on changing it either. The way I am thinking of it is, if people keep getting the vaccine and are being careful about things the numbers will drop to a more "normal" decreased number. If you have your vendors chosen and deposits made, I suggest contacting them and seeing what their protocols are and if you have a deadline in order to switch your date. A lot of places are very understanding with COVID and have been allowing people to transfer deposits.
