October 2021 Weddings!

Me! Our wedding was originally supposed to be April 4, 2020. We were three weeks out when the pandemic took over, so we decided to postpone. We finally settled on October 23rd as our new date, and we're so excited! It's the day after my fiance's birthday, and October is both of our's favorite month. We were so close before that most of our planning is already done. We're planning to meet with our florist in August to redo our flowers a bit; we want something more fall-looking, including sunflowers! We were able to keep all of our original vendors, except we'll more than likely need a new DJ, but the management company promises to have someone for us. We'll probably meet with them over Zoom sometime in the near future. Seeing as I also didn't get my bachelorette party, I'm excited for that! I kinda want to do a weekend getaway just with my bridesmaids.

We're getting married October 29th. We've been planning since late December and have gotten the venue, DJ, photographer, caterer, coordinator, florist, and rentals taken care of. We're doing cake tastings this weekend and I'm going to start trying on dresses soon.

Wow! Thats awesome! We're getting married on October 16th! I chose a dress and now I'm switching it again. I have a venue, bridesmaids dresses and my decor picked out. I lucked in because my Fiancé is in Production Management. He has the dj, lighting, sound, and so much more all together already. I just trying to see if there's anything specific that i would be doing right now. Thank you for your response!

I'm getting married October 16th! Right now, we have pretty much all of the big vendors picked out except our florist and dessert. So those two will be next on the list. We're currently finalizing our guest list and will be sending our Save the Dates out this month and we're also getting our hotel block reserved this month too. I just bought FH's wedding band and we've been getting pricing on tuxes and suits.

I feel like now with it being only 8 months away, I'm in full wedding planning mode!

My husband and I got married last October but pushed our big wedding to October of this year. We went to look at a new venue yesterday and plan on signing the contract either today or tomorrow. We already have our photographer, videographer and DJ from when the wedding originally was supposed to be

We booked our wedding for October 2, 2021 in February right before the pandemic hit. We decided to get married October 2, 2020 and turn the 2021 date into our reception/vow renewal so we could buy our house (yay 2.5% interest rate!). We have our venue and all vendors booked (florist, dj, photographer, videographer, photo booth, hair and makeup). I bought my dress and it should be here in May. My mom loves buying little things to tie it all together so she is working on that (place cards, favors, etc.). We just decided on our menu. We sent save the dates in January (it’s a destination wedding for 95% of guests) and I’ve picked out my invites on minted but haven’t ordered them yet (plan is to send them in July).

October 24th! 😁 We've got all of our venues booked and next on the agenda is dress shopping.

Oct 23rd! We have our venue & I have booked my wedding planner. I am going dress shopping tomorrow! Super excited

October 17th bride here! Already have our venue, dj (my dad lol), photographer, my dress, my shoes, the bridesmaids' dresses, and our Save the Dates. Working on the cake, bouquets, invitations, and honeymoon next. 8 months (give or take) left!

Thank You - CONGRATS to you as well! (Our original date was 10.16 but to save money we opted for Sunday) - hey, at least you have your decor team lol. My decor team is my bridal party and we're somewhat behind on narrowing down what I want. I think we both have time though lol

I have purchased my dress and booked the venue, DJ, and photographer! The bridal party is all picked out so the next step is working on their outfits and decorations! I still have so much to do and its honestly not that much time left until October!

I'm getting married Friday Oct 22. So far we have the venue, caterer, and I just bought a dress. Next up on our list to book is florist, bridesmaids dresses, photographer/videographer, and DJ.

I'm getting Married finally after being together 21yrs. We Will be getting Married on 10/23 which Will be our 22nd anniversary of the day we first started dating. I'm just now really starting to plan. I live in Dallas Texas and getting married somewhere on the beach in Florida. Most likely Destin. I'm still looking for the perfect beach house to accommodate all our gusts. Then I can go from there.

We are supposed to get married 10/03/21 and besides booking the venue I haven’t done a thing. I’m very hesitant to start planning and paying for things because of the pandemic. However now I’m starting to stress that I’m behind on everything. It’s a vicious cycle!

Ahh I love October weddings!! Our wedding is October 2 and we booked last February, so we've had a lot of time to get stuff done. We have the venue, caterer, photographer, DJ, florist, hair and MUA, dress, BM dresses, officiant, sent StDs, and just booked the bakery! Looking into FH's and groomsmen attire, rings, and rehearsal dinner locations next. Feels like I cross one thing off and stress about all the things we have left to do! 😂
