Hello! Me and my fiance got engaged in October of 2019 and decided to have a 4-year engagement so that we had time to deal with college, saving up, etc. Because of Covid spiking up again, I have heard many people already postponing to 2023 because of it. It'll be 2 years before the wedding/elopement in October this year and we are unsure of when to start looking at places to have the elopement and when to start booking. I know that venues and such book up pretty quickly so we don't know if we should book at the end of this year or if we should just wait till next year considering we are not looking for a huge venue since it is an elopement.
