Hi! Oct 20th is the big day!

We've ran into small issues with some vendors but we have the venue in place and a photographer! Bought my dress last weekend! Colors, centerpieces, and flowers are designed just need to hit the go button. Lots of diy projects but I still have time, lol. Ceremony music is selected too. Looking for tuxes for the guys next week.
Looking for a new caterer, cake options and officiant still.

October 6th !

We got engaged September 17, 2016 so we have already had more than a year to plan We are planning from across the country to get married in my hometown so the extra time was needed!

We are going back to Minneapolis during Superbowl week (!!!) with the excuse of booking our cake baker and choosing our linen rentals. We will also be booking the rehearsal dinner venue soon.

I’m getting married oct 26 in Charleston.
I have a photographer, video, catering and bar, venue, planner, decor and rentals, wedding dress, engagement photos done, makeup and hair, dj, live ceremony music, live painter, and I can’t remember if anything else! I still need to get donuts for my donut wall and an officiant and a lot more things to do!

Hey everyone! October 14th bride here!

So far I have:
A venue for both ceremony and reception.

The venue includes catering and we picked what menu we wanted.

We have a photographer picked out just nothing signed yet.

Save the dates have been created.

I have my dress and it just needs to be altered.

I also have colors and few decorations.

- Booked our reception venue, officiant, DJ, photo booth, photographer, makeup artist, and cake. Need to reserve our ceremony spot as we're getting married in a state park.

- Chosen our colors/have swatches

- Chosen our bridal party

- Engagement photos are done

- Bought/have my dress, need accessories, have my shoes

- Website is created

- Registry is started

- Guest list is done

- Save the Dates are going out by the end of this month

We're getting there, slowly but surely!

October 6th for me.
I have done:
- got my ceromony dress (had it for years since it was given to me and still fits to the very day!)
-got the veil (which as also given to me)
- groom has his tux
- did my STD postcards, wedding programs, invitations, RSVP cards, detail cards, thank you cards
- chosen the entire wedding party
-set the date for rehearsal dinner
- chose the food menu
- booked the caterer, dj, ceromony site, reception and after party site, cake, officiant, photographer
-flower for bridesmaids, flower girl, groomsmens flower pockets (sorry... cant think of the name for it lol), and myself
-favors for the reception guests
-bridesmaids gifts (part 1 and very cheaply to fit my budget)
- chosen my hairstylist and hairstyle and booked her
- booked my makeup stylist

Still have so much more to do but glad I got a head start on it all and its running smoothly.

And forgot i have done the wedding regisrty and guestlost done, pocked out theme and colors

Heya, blushing brides (who says we aren't flushed from the workout we're getting handling all this planning?). I'm marrying my fella Oct. 6, and so far we've

- picked our stand-up crew

- booked the venue -- one site for ceremony & reception

- planned the catering location (working on a menu & servers)

- I've picked my colors and dress/accessories and my gals have (mostly) picked theirs

- my Fiance has purchased his groomsmen's cufflinks

- we've had our engagement photos; she's also going to do the day-of photography (and she's my planner, so she's a godsend!)

- we've built the wedding website

I'm currently:

- building our registries

- have picked up a bit of the slack in finding a DJ/MC

Save-the-Dates (I'm sorry, but the abbreviation "STDs" and weddings just aren't compatible in my mind!) are the next big order of business, sometime before the end of Feb. We're having a major problem finding an officiant. We want someone important in our lives (we're not religious, so we don't have a pastor/priest), but my step-dad -- who was a total partici-parent, so I want him to have a role in my big day -- is superstitious: the last wedding he officiated at, they annulled the marriage within months. I can't get through to him that the failure is on the bride and groom, not his "bad juju"! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Good luck, Ladies, and here's to the happiest days!

I’ve slowly been planning things. Lol we just got engaged the weekend after thanksgiving. So it’s still setting in. So far I have
a venue- it’s my property where my grandparents lived.

i have my colors picked out
i have my bridesmaids dresses picked out (can’t order yet because 2 of them are pregnant and not sure of size! They are due a month before the wedding!)
i have church pews I bought for everyone to sit at. Lol
a bunch of random things
we have food picked out and we are not doing cake we are doing pies and cookies. Neither of us really like cake.

**my planning is not moving as fast as I want it to be** im getting super stressed me and my fiancé are paying for basically everything.

I had my first meetings with 2 florists this week, am picking up my dress in 2 weeks, going shopping for BM dresses (just to get a feel) at the end of February, have to choose a bakery for the cake, figure out if we want any extras (photobooth, uplighting etc) buy decor not supplied by the florist (frames, mirrors etc) choose colors, design/order STD's and invitations, and book a hairstylist. Phew...I was feeling pretty good about what I have done until I just typed out that to-do list. There is so much! lol

Booked: Venue and reception - did that last year actually to make sure I got the date I wanted...DJ, Food, Photographer, Florist, Officiant, Hair & Makeup Company, Cake. I pretty much have everything booked. I started last year because I didn't want any issues with my date. Also reserved hotel haha

Making my save the dates currently so I can get them finalized and ready to print by April

Oct 6th in vt (we live in ct) and my family lives in MA and Maine, and my almost husband works the night shift on the RR while I'm commuting 4 hours a day and in Grad school!

The planning is TOUGH MAN.

Right now, we have our venue and church. We also have an excel of our guest list, and have started filling in all of the addresses. January is for finding a photographer, DJ and beginning wedding dress shopping. I'm a designer, so I need to get the save the dates going asap.
