October brides!

Our wedding is on October 6th 2018!!
Which is my brothers birthday, whom had past away. So this day of love ANF jnity will be such a blessing!
So far we have the venue/Reception booked.
Cake has been drawn up, designed, and booked to come alive for a taste test in September!
We have our Minister who happens to be our best friend and Best Man to my Fiance!
My MOH and I are shopping dresses tomorrow but I have the dress color/style in my head, we also have our colors, and bridal party all set.
Currently reviewing DJs, and trying to book our Honeymoon, which is a little difficult since we can't decide as to where we wouild like to go, lol.
I have my Florist chosen and the woman who will be doing our flowers has an expo she is attending next month!
We have the vendor for all the accessories chosen, and will be booked.
Our Save the Dates are designed, pending printing. Our Invitations are pending design.
We have also booked a mechanical bull for our reception country style!
We are also creating 5 cocktails in our name to be served at the reception.......so far so good I think! Definitely got the jitters, constantly cross checking everything! Butg so very blessed and exciting! Doing a lot of the decor myself and have all the supplies for most of the lighting, candles, centerpieces, runner pieces, ect.

Hey October brides!!

Congrats on getting so much done so far!

I’m getting married on October 20. Things I’ve done so far are:
-booked my venue for the ceremony and the reception (with onsite catering)
-booked my photographer
-booked the videographer
-taken engagement photos
-purchased and sent out STD (for the out of town guests)
-ordered the invites (wanted to take advantage of vistaprint’s 50% off sale)
-ordered my dress (!)
-booked the hair and makeup artist
-asked my bridesmaids
-asked my friend to be an officiant
-booked the lion dance (lol FH is Chinese)
-registered for the marriage license
-chose our colors

I think that’s everything. Dreading booking the florist and the DOC because the quotes I got were outrageous!!!

Hey ladies, October 13th is my big day!

we just got engaged at the end of last month and haven't planned too much.

so far i have bought my dress, established my budget, chosen (not booked my venue).

I am getting worried that it will not be ready in time but i am relying on my parents for fund and am not able to schedule any further vendors.

I am so excited! I found the perfect dress today and the perfect baker❤. Things are really looking up.

October 20th and we have:

- Limo Transportation

- Wedding Dress

- Ceremony Music

Making sure I have time off for everything (oops!)

Eeee I love seeing all the stuff other October brides have gotten done! Makes me feel motivated! :3 So far, I have:

-Booked venue and reception, and DOC comes with the venue
-Asked bridal party (groom still needs to find his crew)
-Started sewing my wedding dress
-Bought wedding jewelry and shoes
-Made bridal bouquet and kissing balls for my BMs
-Bought guestbook, pillow, basket,and garter
-Started lining up hotels for blocking, informed everyone about airport and car rentals locally
-Finished my half the guest list; FH's half is this weekend.
-Designed StD's and invitations, narrowing down printing service choice. Started collecting addresses
-Worked out menu for the party
-Made website and registries
-Started getting fit!
-Started looking at BM dresses that they like, discussing what they wanna wear
-Made awesome music playlist
-FH started designing his ceremony clothes; we'll probably go fabric shopping in a few weeks
-Started planning dinner for night before wedding since my BP is all flying in that night and will likely be exhausted and hungry. Likely going to have dinner first, THEN quick wedding rehearsal
-Started buying silk flowers and things for centerpieces and decor
-Saving items on Sams Club so it's all ready to go and be delivered to the venue
-Show Nanny everything every time we visit since she doesn't get out much and she's so excited that I'm marrying her favorite grandson

October 13th bride here and starting over planning completely! Lol. We planned for last October but some things came up and we postponed. Now that things are settled, planning is back in gear. So far I have my dress, picked my MOH, and colors. Thats about it lol! I feel so far behind!

Hey! oct 14th! Can’t believe how quickly time is flying by!

So so far we’ve gotten most of the big things sorted:venue, Dj, photographer, videographer, and now florist!

We need an officiant! Is anyone else doing a non-religious ceremony and can point me in the direction of an officiant in Dallas?! I asked our favorite waiter from our favorite restaurant but I don’t think my fiancé was too pleased about that lol.

We've gotten almost everything done except decorations and the formal invites. We're going bridesmaid dress shopping in April.

I'm trying to do everything early, that way nothing is going to be stressful. And if I have the money now, why not?

Also, my wedding is October 28th!
