October brides!

Our date is October 5th!!

So far I have:

Booked the Ceremony and reception venue

Booked officiant (my dad)

Booked florist, in the process of securing our designs for centerpieces and bouquets

Booked the bakery for the cake

Purchased and sending save the dates next week! ( I love them they are the shape of our state and FH picked them out!)

Finalized guest list, and I have all the addresses expect 5 (why I am waiting till next week to send save the dates)

Selected photographer ( putting down deposit this week)

Booked HMUA

Booked hotel block including our wedding night

Booked caterer

Bought my dress! I am completely obsessed with it

Selected and place deposit down on wedding invites and wedding stationary

Selected bridal party and wedding colors

Found flower girl dresses

Finished wedding website

I still have a ton to do, but I feel somewhat accomplished!

We have been slacking. We have our photographer, caterers, picker colors, ordered my dress, save the dates & have some decorations picked out. We are just doing a back yard country wedding. Very simple. & not many people

I have chosen my ceremony venue found my dress color scheme about to send out save the dates working on reception venue photographer and thats it

Our wedding is Oct. 20th!

So far:

-Booked the venue and reception area

-Chosen my bridal party

-Chosen Colors and Theme

-Gotten my dress

-Most girls have gotten the bridesmaid dress

-Booked the florist

-Registry mostly done

-Booked rehearsal dinner venue

-Started looking at the Wedding Shower Venue

-Created a rough timeline of the big day

-Booked photographer, officiant, hair and make up salon, cake person, and DJ!

-Sent the Save-The-Dates!

Well...

So far we have booked our venue which doubles for both ceremony and reception.

Cake has been ordered

bridal party has been arranged (there will be two for each of us).

My bridesmaids have have already paid for and ordered their dresses.

My my friend Jen is currently working on blocking our hotels.

I work in entertainment so so I am blessed to have so many people offer services as wedding gifts! My Officient is a friend, videoohraphy, and makeup artistry are all being offered as gifts! I feel incredibly blessed because al are masters of their fields.

I am am meeting with the dress designer in a week to start my dress.

Our wedding will will be in Ohio but we live in Atlanta Georgia. So we are going up this week to do our menu tasting.

I still have NOT found a photographer or DJ. Those are the two primary concerns.

Oh nails have been scheduled as well. Hopefully my save-the-dates arrive within the week so those can go out!!!!

Hello! Our wedding is October 18, 2018!
So far we have everything done except for the tuxes, decor, linens, wedding bands, and invites! Save the Dates will be sent out in a couple of weeks! Definitely feeling surreal!

Good for you! I’m jealous about hair and makeup. My wedding is out of town outside of Chicago and idk how I’m going to go about trials...

Hello, fellow October Brides!

So far I have booked or decided on the following:

- colors ( couldn't decide on an actual theme; just wanted the wedding and reception to be elegant )

- singer ( my uncle will sing as I walk down the aisle )

- just got my dress this past weekend! I had a real "Say Yes to the Dress" crying moment

My next goals to tackle are securing a caterer ( my biggest headache because they are expensive here) a cake bake, and deciding on my bridesmaids and flower girls/ junior bridesmaid's dresses!

CONGRATS!!! How did you find your officiant? I’m looking for one now but want to find a non religious officiant
